Miller Waldrop Furniture and Decor was established in 1952 by its founders, Barney Waldrop and Alex Miller. The two friends who worked together at the Sears Furniture department had a dream of owning their own business and bringing top quality home furnishings to a small town in southeastern New Mexico. Fast forward 60 years to Third Generation Owners and Operators, Kent & Beckey Waldrop, who have been working in the business for the last 27 years. The passion hasn’t changed.
The culture you'll find at Miller Waldrop is one of friendship and family. We strongly believe in cultivating a caring attitude of kindness, support, encouragement, and the progressive growth of each team member. Our goal is for each customer of Miller Waldrop to experience these same positive attributes while shopping at our store.
Kent & Beckey Waldrop are Third Generation Owners. Kent grew up in the business by dusting, cleaning, and hauling trash. Kent came back to work in the business after his college education in 1985. A few years later Kent met and married his wife, Beckey. Beckey jumped in with both feet and went to work at Eileen's. She eventually managed that store. Later, Eileen retired and Beckey came over to work with Kent at Miller Waldrop. The couple passionately pursues the business with the high priorities of provided exceptional customer service, beautifully displayed furniture and accessories at the very best price possible.
