Tell Dr. Ritchie to stop giving patients her phone number. She acts supportive and tells you to text her if you have any questions. Then she goes off on you for texting her at work. How about checking your phone OFF work hours? And how about not comforting people with your lies you call "support". And you made my FEMALE appointments FOR me????? Do women not have a choice here???? I just asked for the referral so I could call and make my own damn appointment. You crossed the line.
I wish with every part of me I could give Zero stars. DO NOT EVER GO HERE. ESPECIALLY FOR EMERGENCIES. Had to call an ambulance this morning, they could only bring us here. We’ve been here 6+ hours, we’ve been informed of the condition of my family member and how they need to go to another hospital asap. But they’re putting minimal effort into finding a hospital, and in the mean time have fully stopped treating my family member. That really needs care before things gets worse than they already are. They now won’t even talk to us about anything at all. Give extremely hateful stares and attitude if you come out of the room to find out something. It’s been 2hours since any of them have stepped in the room we are in. We can hear them mocking different cases they’ve had recently, along with hearing things about us. Them gossiping amongst each other is the only way we’ve been able to get any information, because even when asked they won’t say anything other than “we’re trying to find a hospital”. We’re the only people in the Emergency room and have been for hours. There’s no need for it to be like this. Even if they are struggling to find a hospital they could at least try to do some treatment themselves until they find one.
Don't go here if you have serious condition. The doctors are very judgemental and me and others have been misdiagnosed multiple times. The doctors and nurses in the er especially. We overheard them mocking all the patients and ambulance drivers even refusing to go out on a call because they didn't feel like it. They are especially judgmental on anyone that deals with mental health illnesses. Will be going to parkersburg from now on.
Only go here if you absolutely have to.. ask anyone in the town! Always slow....if you have prescriptions they take forever to get or they get them wrong. And the covid test are only good if you want the results in 5 days .. so pointless. Do yourself a favor and just take the drive to Parkersburg.
Always long wait times been here over a hour in waiting to be took back.
Quick in and out..very clean..great caring staff
Absolutely the worst hospital in the tri-state. Definitely an issue with administration and staffing issues.
All my medical starts there.
