Delicious 5 dollar burger night on Sunday. Very tasty and a bargain. Fun environment, good service, delicious food. I'll be going back. Had a great casual meal with an old friend here in April 2018.

Usually a really fun place to be at! Crab dip is amazing, the burgers can be cooked to your lokong (sometimes), and the salads are actually pretty tasty. But the real reason most people come here is for the beer, which is always reliable. Sometimes they'll be out of something, but there's plenty more to choose from. Outdoor patio section is great when the weather calls for it. And the basement/cellar doenstairs gives you a cozy colonial vibe which is definitely worth checking out!

Had the mac n cheese with lump crab, and it was delicious, as was the peanut butter pie. Great selection of beer, and quite a robust food menu. Good place for groups.

We went to the basement part of rams head. It's quiet down there and nice. We sat at the bar to get beers thru the beer club but forgot our carda. The bartender said if we brought the receipt when we come back he could get the beers on our card. Very nice place.

I apologize for this long and critical review, but it's the result of an absolutely disappointing meal at the Rams Head Tavern. We were there to see a show at their music venue and opted for their Rams Head Experience. The tavern is huge and the menu interesting, so we had high hopes for the meal. Wife ordered the Jamin Salmon. It was comprised of a very small portion of salmon on a very large bed of mashed potatoes. There was a very meager amount crab meat sprinkled around the potatoes and there were no vegetables to speak of with the dish. The salmon was also very well done and burned crispy on the bottom. I ordered the blackened tuna and it was overdone and served on a bed of instant rice that hadn't been fully cooked. Again, no vegetable to speak of. We shared the Smith Island cake for dessert (coconut) and that was good. The beer was also good (Rams Head IPA). The wife visited the ladies room and there was only one stall in there working. The others plugged and unusable. The restroom was filthy, which is an indication of poor management, in my view. If you visit the Rams Head, check out the restrooms first to see just how indifferent management is to their customers. At the end of our meal, our server offered to take us to our seats over at the Rams Head on Stage (part of the "Rams Head Premium On-Stage Experience"). When we got to the room, the server just abandoned us and we had to find our own way to the table. We are capable but the server was very impolite to have abandoned us like that. Loved the music at the Rams Head on Stage, but if we go again, we will be eating somewhere else. There are plenty of excellent choices nearby. Rams Head managers, you have a great location and a great space. It's shameful that you are so negligent. Filthy restroom, poorly cooked, expensive meals, and rude servers. You win the trifecta of terrible dining experiences.
