The staff here is extremely biased, if you are renewing your license and have been driving for years GO TO A DIFFERENT OFFICE. The "instructer" I had was on an extreme power trip. I will be reporting his behavior to the City of St. Charles tomorrow.

Failed my 1st attempt. I'm an experienced driver with pretty sharp awareness and caution, but that was tested here. The BASICS are the key to a pass. Look over your shoulder when backing and pulling out (look at you blind spots) even though there is nobody around because IT IS REQUIRED. Box out your turns - touching the dividing line going onto another street is points off. WATCH YOUR SPEED. Most of this test is in 25 mph zone. Downhill, you best use brakes. Speeding is minus points. Watch out for the final turn back into the lot. It is a blind corner and you can pull in front of someone very easily. That was my automatic fail. Tough place to get your license, but I'm going back to show it can be done.

Great people working here, very patient considering the gamut of people they deal with on a daily basis. Very helpful. Recommend you come here for testing instead of st Charles, moves quicker, less traffic.

These people are very bies about the people and they care about the pesonal asspects more than driving skills.They are taking the test where themselves are not really familiar with the basics of driving rules.

Unreasonable and difficult! First of all, this testing center is situated around a corner (highway and a loop) and staff cautions drivers to be careful while exiting before you start taking the test. During the test, you will be taken through the old St Peters town and into some very cramped narrow roads with just too many stops and bumps, this circuit is challenging to new drivers. I am an experienced driver but due to an expired license was taking up the test again. During my test, the lady examiner took an unreasonably long time, took me as far as St Peters mall and around, until she came up with a reason that my right turns are too narrow. I failed! Next day, I went to St Charles testing center and passed my test. Disclaimer: This is solely my opinion and individual experiences may differ. Let this review not discourage you.
