My Mother passed away in December. With doing funeral and everything required while grieving I was just 2 days late sending in her property tax after getting through all of her bills. I called the manager to ask for a one time dispensation on the penalty due to her death and he could not have been more heartless if he tried. The person has died and they expect a ghost to pay? It is amazing they received the $4000 only 2 days late. Shocking way to treat a women who lived 91 years paying taxes which in turn pay his salary. Shameful!

Workers are worthless..I have called 5 times now to try and speak with a real person and that same real person from the west county branch, keeps forwarding me to a machine. When you live 2 hours away and have no way of getting the information you need to properly file you personal property tax, it becomes the states problem. Thanks for your useless workers, no wonder computers are taking over.

Clerk's can be rude and not so helpful. I'm talking about the real estate and personal property division.
