I was was not impressed. I was asked to fill out several packets of paperwork. I seen his nurse practitioner, who spent more time with me then he did. He came into the room for 5 min and gave me a diagnosis. I tried to explain that medication was not something I wanted to give my child. I was told medication was the only thing that will help his behaviors. I was referred to a partial hospitalization program. Long story short, my son diagnosis was completely different from the ones that I was told at Dr Aman office.

My son always has an appointment at 9am...guess what ? They open at 9 and like 20 other people have appointments at 9. When we go we are the room with the doctor or practitioner for maybe 5 mins. They simply write prescriptions and move on to the next patient. He doesnt ever listen to me or my husband.My son's last appointment was last week , we walked in , he asked our son's weight...we sat down  and the first question was " have I seen your son before?" I am like yes you are the one that diagnosed him with ADHD and put him on Adderall..." hows the medicine working for him? I then told him that the Adderall was no longer effective ....my son was no longer able to sit still and his progress slowed down. He then hands me a sheet a paper and circles PHP programs...he tells us he can't help our son. It's weird that I had to call to make the referral to Cooks.  It's been  over a week and my son still hasn't got a bed at Cooks...so I called his office to see if he would call cooks to speed up the process...well he didn't...the only thing that happened was a lady called me from the office and gave me two other hospitals that do inpatient...the crazy thing is the places I was given doesn't even care for kids his age. My son is 4 years old. It's a  hot mess. I am hoping cooks can get my son a bed soon...i am not going back to this guy I will get a new psychiatrist through Cooks. I wouldn't recommend going to this place

Dr Aman heard what I had to say about my child. He is caring and knowledgeable about children's diagnosis . He listened to my sons long history patiently , answered all my questions . He is the 3 rd Paychiatrist I have seen in last 2 years . My son has had various diagnosis thrown at him. He was over medicated at millwood hospital. Thank god for this man ... he simplified drug regimen for my son . We started  counseling  at his clinic best coulseor connection my 15 y/0 has had with any counselor  . " I feel
Like I have my son back" . He is on prozac  and abilify now vs 5 medications when he came home from millwood hospital 3 months ago... this doctor is the best child psychatrist... in tarrant county.. no matter what I will strongly recommend. Dr aman to any parent listening to simply medication regimen and get your child Back....thank you

I didn’t like this dr he was very unprofessional he didn’t ask my son about his everyday, even knowing that he was a new patient he took his weight and didn’t stay to see how much his weight was, he just wrote his prescription and we where out of there in less than five minutes

I don't like him. The staff is great, but he doesn't listen to the problems that were having he just writes prescriptions for my daughter. She has so many diagnosis that she's been diagnosed with in the past 5 years and he doesn't seem to concerned at any of it.
