This place is a gem! First day we were here we had pancakes which are the best pancakes I’ve had on my vacation so far. Today I had the French toast which was amazing as well. You can’t got wrong eating here! Go eat here! This is a must stop and eat here place for Vallejo! The food is absolutely amazing. The staff is friendly and food comes out fast!
Momo's Cafe is SO GOOD! I moved to Vallejo less than a month ago and have been here for breakfast like once a week! The portions are large and everything tastes amazing. I haven't had anything I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. The pancakes are fluffy and tasty and the omelettes and breakfast potatoes are spot on. Also, I love that it's a family owned and run spot, and all of the staff are kind and welcoming!
This place is Amazing!! Everything we ate was full of flavor & off the charts delicious! This is not just a place to eat great food, you can tell they take pride in creating a welcoming experience. We are just passing through on vacation, but this will always be a must when we come to Vallejo.
Great food and very generous servings I have split entrees before and we both had plenty to eat. Most of the time the service is also 5 stars, but I had an unfortunate experience last Friday for breakfast. It was during Vallejo restaurant week when Momo's advertised it was offering 20% off any item. I mentioned this to the waitperson when I asked for the check, but there was no discount on my bill when she brought it. When I asked her about it, she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about until I pulled out my phone and showed her the flyer for Vallejo Restaurant week and also pointed to the sign they had in their own window advertising their participation. She finally seemed to understand and then went to correct the bill. When she finally returned after 10 minutes, I noticed the total was essentially the same, and when I looked at the bill details, I saw she had added 18% for a service charge. When I asked her about this charge, she acted like she didn't know what it was and offered to remove it. I asked her again if it was her tip I was prepared to tip her 25% on top of the bill to make up for the discount, but she just shook her head and acted embarrassed. Finally I just left her an extra buck on top of the 18% to bring it up to close to what I usually tip. Normally when a restaurant adds service to a check, they will do it on larger tables and will clarify that practice on the menu. In all the times I have visited including the Sunday before when I went with a friend, they have never put a service charge on my check, which makes me think she just thought I was cheap and wouldn't tip her single diners get the shaft sometimes, unfortunately. While the food was great as always, the way my waitperson treated me will make me hesitate before going here again.
Pictures of menu were outdated. The new prices scared a few customers while we were there. They scared me to be honest. Only reason I didn't leave is cause wife insisted we stayed, and cause I was really hungry. Once you're seated, you order and get food pretty quickly. Portions are large and delicious. Staff is pretty cool. The house made salsa is great. Is 20$ for an omelette worth it? Come make up your own mind. Will I be back? A strong maybe. Check'em out
They're having a "pay what you want" promotion sponsored by a local rapper for 2mos. Went there and it was a little crowded and the food was on point. I would like to thank the young man that is grounded and cares for US still! It's a commendable gesture. God bless you.Food: 4/5
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent. Would definitely recommend them. We happen to come during a promotion where you eat for free and tip whatever you want it for your service. Excellent promotion. They seem to accommodate everyone who came. This will last until the end of 2022.Food: 5/5
My husband and I brought our son here to celebrate the awards he got at school. I wondered why the staff looked so depressed but as I say there I realized why. They were serving such great food and allowing customers to pay what they want. I did not see 1 customer leave any money and even worse they all walked out without even saying thank you! I just want to thank the staff for their unappreciated work. Your food was amazing and we are picky!!! Thank you so much we will be eating here again!!!
An excellent place to have breakfast, the food is very good, the staff is incredibly friendly, every Sunday I can I like to go there for breakfast, the coffee is not the best but the atmosphere is what makes it an excellent place. recommended
This place was super crowded it was a weekend so there was the market out after about a 30 minute wait to get a seat inside of the very small establishment it felt like being at a friend's house for dinner the customers were friendly our waiter Eddie was super duper nice he was like a little brother serving our food out the kitchen from Ma and Pa he took around and conversated with everyone at the table even though he knew my niece and her friend he didn't know me or my sister for sure it was actually six of us there which is one reason we had such a long wait but I would definitely go here again and if the weather permits staying outside and wait to be seated especially if Eddie is at work such a kind personal friendly young man
