Finally Vallejo gets a serious authentic Mexican restaurant!!! We are close neighbors and completely thrilled these great people have finally opened. 3 meals so far! Wet red burrito is tasty and huge! Fresca bisteca! It’s just awesome. Obviously they are opening slowly & without a lot of fanfare. It’s just solid food and my wife & me cannot be happier….
everything i ordered was off in someway, the tacos were bland, flavorless with low quality steak. The chorizo queso dip isnt even queso, its melted sprinkled cheese with chorizo sprinkled on top, you cant even dip in the cheese, because its not a sauce. The nacho fries were horrible, soggy fries, Underwhelmed for first try
Absolutely the best brick and mortar for Mexican food in Vallejo. We seriously go, at least, once a week. Have not had one thing that wasn't absolutely fire! The owners are so friendly, and they know my wife and I at this point and light up with joy every time we go there. If you're on the fence, or even in denial, give their food a shot. Quesabirria tacos are made with larger corn tortillas than most other restaurants use and are crazy good..
I love Mexican food and welcome all new businesses even when Vallejo already has a few very good and established mexican restaurants. I stopped by for dinner shortly after the grand opening. My observation was the music was way too loud to the point a conversation was difficult. Food was ok. Not bad but not great either. I've had better elsewhere. There are no complimentary chips which is fine but you pay $1.50 for tortilla chips that tasted like they came from a bag not made fresh in house and only get about 7-8 in a small paper bowl. Salsa is served in those tiny take out containers. Customer service was good and friendly. This is constructive criticism and only hope it helps the restaurant strive to be the best it can be.
One of the best Mexican food places in the Bay Area. The quesa birria and tacos are delicious.Food: 5/5
Honestly, this is by far one of the best Mexican Restaurant i’ve went to. The prices are decent. The workers are respectful, patient, nice, and hardworking. The service is great, the food is delicious, and the environment is welcoming. So far my favorite dish has been the super grilled chicken burrito. Delicious I can really tell how much work they’ve put into the restaurant as a family. Thank youuu!!
Clearly lot of care and hard work went into making this a warm and friendly environment. The service is amazing- and the food is great. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed. We did tonight and we are glad they are part of the neighborhood!
We had take out from there and it was amazing! We didn't use the drive through and the restaurant was very clean and nice. I had a taco salad and it was very well balanced and craveable!
Burritos are really good, the service is friendly and the drive thru is convenient.
