The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce encourages all users to interact with our social media accounts, and to provide us with feedback through these systems as well as traditional media.
On Content We Post: We encourage users to become engaged and to provide us feedback on the content we distribute. We want users to “Like” our posts, to “tag” themselves and their friends (with permission of course), to comment on any of our postings, and to share our content with friends and connections.
Please note that postings and content provided by the Chamber may contain copyrighted material. Copyrighted material posted by the Chamber is done so with permission of the owner.
Sharing of this content is permissible only within the framework, but downloading and/or reporting this content elsewhere is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to make changes to or remove any inappropriate content.
On Content Posted By Users: We encourage users to tag us in their content and to post directly on our page, any information relevant to the Chamber or our membership.
However, it is the policy of the Chamber to not endorse any particular politician, political candidate, or political party. In addition, the Chamber does not affiliate with any faith based group or organization. We reserve the right to un-tag ourselves or remove any inappropriate content.
On Inappropriate Content: Inappropriate content is any content not in the best interest of the Chamber or its membership and may include such things as off topic comments or links to other content deemed inappropriate by the Chamber. Content that degrades any organization or individual, either personally or in regards to racial/ethnic background, sexual orientation or gender will not be tolerated. Vulgar language or messages that may be offensive to others will also not be permitted.
If we receive any alerts to content that violate these policies on any Chamber social media channel, then content may be removed.
Repeated violations of these policies by any user may result in removal of their content from all Chamber social media channels, a report of the actions submitted to the social media developer and being blocked or banned from further interaction with Chamber social media channels.
