Isn't it interesting that all of the "5 star reviews" sound a bit similar. Two of them are well thought out as if written by the owner/manager. It wouldn't be so obvious, if only they hadn't copy/pasted the exact raving review/comment 2 times in a row under different names.... Even the non-identical comments appear to be written by someone who is Coincidentally "impressed" with very similar aspects of their visit... For example pie & drinks/coffee... Why don't business owners just make their fake posts it a bit more convincing?? Really I just wish that they could spend more effort encouraging real customers to rate them with honesty... This practice shows a lack of confidence in the quality of what they are offering.. The best businesses don't have to manufacture good reviews. By the way I bought a suit for my mother's funeral about 3 years ago & yes, I do like it. However I did spend a lot of money & they were clearly trying to play on my vulnerable state. It was clear as day that they were using strong sales tactics on me. I understand because I was in sales myself at one point in time. So I just grinned/humored them because I wanted to move forward. I told them that I didn't have much money. Apparently they didn't hear me because the first one that they put on me was $3,000. They marked it for tailoring & refused to give me an idea of price before I went through the ordeal. "We will discuss that after".... So I continued because after all, I was there... We looked at different shirts & ties... I looked fantastic in the suit & was excited because they had it all marked up with white China Marker (or what ever they use) ... After I was made aware of the price ($3k), they acted a bit put off because they have to go wipe off the markings for the alterations. I was beside myself because I repeatedly asked what the price range was on it & voiced that I don't want them to waste time putting me in a suit that is out of my price range... I guess that they wanted a piece of the inheritance I didn't have... Seeing these fake reviews made me rethink my decision to do business with them years ago. I thought of the experience, & where I was emotionally... I understand that everyone needs to make a dollar... But do it honestly... Don't manufacture your own reviews, & don't take advantage of people who are going through a difficult time. It's not worth it. You obviously know what people want, because you said it in the fake reviews you posted.... "honest advice" "respect"... I guarantee you that you will see better sales results if you just follow what you know is right rater than just post it in a review.. It's sooo obvious that it's fake.. Just take them down if you can & encourage customers to post reviews for you... Trust me...

Yeah. LOVE it. I wandered in SM today and walked out 300 dollars poorer but much happier. The prices aren't bad-- For example, I got a top for 80 dollars and pants for 120. What sells the store, though, is the customer service. I was dressed in yoga pants, no makeup, and hair that hasn't been tended to in days, and they treated me like i was Michelle Obama. I drank coffee; the clerks ran all over the store to find items in my size; no one tried to up-sell me or convince me to buy a 600-dollar cardigan. They admired my choices and gave legitimately good advice. LOVE.

I was in town for a wedding and the service that I received here was far and beyond what we have in DC. I needed an emergency quick fix for my tux which they were able to accommodate within just a few minutes. Not only that, but there was plenty of pie, fruit, and coffee for me to eat in the meantime. The salespeople and owner were extremely welcoming and their attention to detail and customer service is something that most stores lack now. I wish we had a place like this in DC and will definitely be stopping in the next time I'm in Hartford.
