RUINED 2017 CHRISTMAS EVE DINNER WITH FAMILY. I have been to various Morton’s across the country and unfortunately have to rate the Coral Gables Morton as a 1. We selected Morton’s because of my experience at this steakhouse prior to moving to Miami. As a highly rated and $$$ restaurant our expectations for the service standards are high but not unreasonable. My family was seated at 7:45pm last evening. The waitress brought water to our table but did not introduce herself. After about 15 minutes I got her attention to order a glass of wine. We noticed after about 30 minutes she simply disappeared from waiting our table. My wife spoke to the host who informed her it was a “crazy” evening. We were surprised that a Morton’s Steakhouse was unprepared to handle customers. We patiently accepted her excuse and finally at 9pm with no sign of any service to our table, I was forced to speak to a manager. I also spoke to the general manager.  I was not rude but very frustrated.  At 9:15PM our meal was brought to the table and we finished before closing. The management comp’d our meal - but our Christmas Eve dinner with my family was honestly ruined by the worst service I have ever had at a higher end steakhouse.  Given this experience - my family and I don’t recommend this restaurant.

Ate here with our 2 children and sitter. We were travelling from WI. It was a few days away from our daughter's 11th birthday.  They decorated our table with confetti and she even got a free dessert. They made it very special for our kids..they had so much fun! The food was great..bill high as expected ! We enjoyed filet,  crab legs, chicken and several desserts.  All was delicious and the staff was amazing with our children! Glad we ate here.

Although food was really good, service did not fulfill the expectations  during our company Christmas celebration. The space assigned for 20 guests was not appropriate, the restaurant restricted  the type of drlnks not following the contract. They offered live music but the singer was in an area difficult to see and listen. The banquet manager was not present making difficult for the waitress to make the corrections because they were not instructed. I wouldn't recommend this place but just for regular dining.

The whole staff is super friendly and very informative. The meal was superb and the desserts are exquisite! Everything is fresh and of very high quality.
