We were pleasantly surprised as we had not stayed at a Motel 6 in probably over 20 years.  Our son in law booked our stay and we were somewhat concerned.  Our room was very clean, very efficient and even had a table and chairs.  We were close to a good restaurant.  The bathroom was very clean and shower very nice.  Only could ask for the towels to be a better quality.  We were somewhat flabbergasted with the price of $174.00 for the night, but we realize that we were in Florida at cruise time.

This is the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. My original room was not clean and what was supposed to be a non-smoking room reeked of marijuana smoke. The security guard sprayed the room but we were not satisfied and were moved to another room. The second room was not clean and the shower curtains were dirty with what appeared to be blood stains. We requested another change of room but the replacement room was missing a bed. In the end, after much debate, I went with the security guard to check out rooms on the second level and chose one that was barely acceptable. After a long flight from NJ to Florida after a long day at work, we were kept waiting for a place to sleep for over an hour and a half.
I was in town to attend the funeral of a very close friend and was not  happy with this experience.
This hotel is a disgrace. Having to pay the rates charged for this kind of accommodation is totally unacceptable.

For the price, it was much better than same priced listings nearby and on the way to Port Saint Lucie. We checked in at 3:30 am and Darhia(spelling?) was super sweet and helpful. Room appeared nice and beds and bathroom were clean. Floor under bed was dirty and left our feet dirty and shower had terrible water pressure. Again, for the price, we were satisfied. We felt safer in the area than any of the other available motel options. It is on a main road with stores next door and everything well lit.

I asked 4 weeks in advance for a room on ground floor.  I was arriving very late with 3 heavy bags. Was told at check in no rooms on bottom floor.  The room smelled of cigarette smoke. I had to take three trips to get my 70-pound luggage to my room and I told the woman at the desk, she said she could come up in 30 minutes to spray it.  I said no thanks. 

Motel 6 used to be my go-to hotel, has gone way downhill.  For $20 more or same price you can stay at a better hotel.  You were good in the 1990 and 2000.  Thanks for trying.

always stay there when in Florida. very disappointed this time. people are always great. there was some cleaning process going on the smell was horrible like strong paint or glue. couldn't get a window open because we were on second floor. we had to request a room change to the bottom. floor then they were doing it down stairs. finally we checked out a day early. very disappointed this year
