Plenty of parking, family friendly even with pets. The staff was super friendly. Rooms are simple but effective for minimum needs; TV, table and chairs, small fridge and microwave. Things they can improve: add a coffee pot, and better cleaning. The fridge could not be used because it smelled like spoiled milk, the bath tub was dirty, as if it had been sprayed down with cleaner but not scrubbed. The beds and towels were clean and comfortable.

My husband and I stayed at the Silver City motel 6 and it was a great experience! The room was clean, the staff very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The location was perfect for us to explore an area that we've wanted to for a long time, especially the Pinos Altos mining district. There is also a great Chinese restaurant right next door, the Chinese Palace. You really have to try them! We're older folks, so the bed was a little on the firm side for me, but hubby slept like a baby. The only thing to watch out for is if you take a shower, be aware if the occupants in the room next to you decide to take one the same time, you MAY get very hot or very cold water fast! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again the next time we are out that way.

For the most part, the value for the price was great. There were a few things that I believe could cave been better though: 1. The pillows were flat and hard. Made for a hard time staying asleep along with #2; 2. There was a lingering cigarette smell in my non-smoking room that kept me awake. Thought it was a pillow, but not sure. This is reflected in "Cleanliness of room" below. Otherwise room was as clean as could be. 3. The bathroom faucet would not turn completely off and very hard to turn on. Mentioned to front office staff. Basically both faucets were needing replacement. 4. The caulking in the bathroom was pealing up pretty bad. Possible water damage. 5. The door jamb/latch was very sloppy All in all still better than my original plan of sleeping in my car.

The room was noisy you could hear all the noise from the hallway and reception aera! Is there a quiet time besides 1:00am to 4:00am? Trash receptacle in the reception area were full for two days! My room was run down and the bathroom door you could barely shut it! The microwave was beaten up like someone hit with there hand. The bed linens had burn holes in them from the smoking rooms! The ice maker was leaking water out of it and the fix was to throw towels down on it and that was for the three days we were there! This was the first time for a bad experience from Motel 6!! Good Luck on fix that situation! I will not stay at that one again!!

The location was excellent. The price was very budget friendly. The staff was very pleasant. All was very good except the bed. The bed was very thin and rock hard. Very difficult to sleep.
