A nice stay with very helpful staff. Easy in and out of I-10. This is your typical Hampton, maybe a little simpler than others. Pool sits inside the building. Things I would improve: Put in a bathroom air extractor. A/C fan did not run continuous as I wished, even though it has buttons to make you think it will. Had to borrow a fan from the front desk to sleep. That's just me. I can't sleep well with still air. Again, my issue, not necessarily everyone else's. All in all an affordable hotel with the Hampton edge that sits in an ideal location to come and then go (03/18).

Exceptional hotel! Given this places location I was NOT expecting much and this place met and exceeded the expectations! The fitness room was nice and clean and there was even an indoor pool and whirlpool! The sheets were absolutely divine! The room was massive, the shower head was effective, and the bathroom was larger than expected. For what I paid and what I got, I was floored by the amenities and the friendliness of he hotel staff. While I may sincerely doubt I will travel from the east coast to west coast again, if I find myself on the I-10 again I will most CERTAINLY will be staying here again.

This Hampton Inn is comfy and the staff is as helpful as possible, given the setup. Breakfast isn't extensive, but well presented. The dining area is pleasant. The 24/7 coffee and hot water are great. WiFi works well enough for my purposes--from browsing and the like to streaming movies. The shop is small, but offers some variety, including some microwavable meals--no beer or wine, though. Weirdly the first floor ice-machine is locked behind a key-card-door inside the guest laundromat. The King room with a microwave and fridge is clean, cozy looking and functional--well organized. The lamps are wobbly, and the charging station is on a bedside table, not at the desk, just slightly inconveniencing. The other charging outlets on the lamps (desk and bedside) only work when the lamps are on, meaning I can't use those. But the charging station and other available outlets are enough for my devices. This hotel is somewhat pet-friendly and the cat likes the room okay. The trouble for me: Only a handful of first and second floor rooms are pet friendly. A noisy extended-stay crowd next door is all but ruining this visit now because their din carries through the common wall, day and night--earsplitting and thunderous. Unfortunately, like many Hampton Inns, the walls here are cardboard-thin, so kids' screams and play thumps are barely muffled--so this getaway jaunt hasn't been restful at all. Though I offered to pay much more as a pet-fee to be moved to a potentially quieter, albeit non-pet, room (that a front desk staff member initially suggested--getting my hopes up--then took back because "oops I forgot you brought a cat"), hotel staff indicated I would be charged $250 PER NIGHT extra pet fee to be switched, and that they "just won't do that" anyway "because the fee is too much." But a day later, someone else at the front desk informed me the correct extra fee would have been $100 just once, and the $250 fee is for smoking in a room, and that is charged only once also. Then, I noticed there is even a sign posted that states the same. So, why the unhelpful misinformation? The noise-porous walls, the sickening air-freshener spray that's overused everywhere and the very limited pet friendliness here cause this low rating because my money seems wasted this go-round. I've decided to check out early and sight-see further down the road instead.

This is a negative review. When we pulled in with our trailer to park we were forced to drag our camper through tree branches to park in the parking lot since the trees are not properly trimmed and the was a abandoned trailer in the best trailer parking spot. If your going to keep abandoned vehicles on your hotel lot keep them in a middle spot not the coveted end spot where all customers desire to park. Also the breakfast was horrible like a southern Georgia dive motel just awful had no fruit and those gross fake eggs that my dog refuses to eat. And when are they going to quit feeding us high fructose corn syrup with our waffles? We want real maple syrup so pull a couple bucks out of your CEO salary franchise guys and start providing real food. It’s no rocket science and even the dimmest witted managers are going to catch on to this soon.

Very clean and roomy. Has all the important amenities that I look for, ironing board, free WiFi, microwave, coffee maker which we used to make hot tea. My wife brings her own bags and honey Etc. This was just for a quick overnight stay on our way to San Diego it was good to have free breakfast in the morning. Friendly staff will stay here again. They even provided us a menu for a restaurant that delivers to the hotel, perfect for us quick Travelers.
