I loved the Motel 6 when it was still in business back in 2009. Rooms were clean, front desk was helpful. Unfortunately, it is closed now. I don't know if they are renovating or tearing down.

The fellow who checked us in was very nice, but untrained. Checking in took a long time and was confusing. The place needs all kinds of work. Wires unconnected in the hall. Screws missing from door latch. No fire evacuation plan on door. No landscaping outside. Rusted shower rod. It is clean though, and cheap and the internet and tv work.

Reserved non-smoking rooms, showed up and were given smoking rooms. No hot water, sink faucet broken, WiFi does not work, didn't have enough towels even in storage, mandatory emergency evacuation plan missing, fridge not working, and there is mold on the ceiling making me cough up a storm. And I have only been here for an hour.

Bare bones, but pretty cheap. Fine for a night if your needs don't exceed a bed and a toilet.
