My room was clean and modern as it appeared to have been recently renovated. The price was reasonable although the same low price seems to attract some less than desirable fellow hotel occupants. I was not able to find the ice machine on my floor and suspect it was located near the check in office. I would stay here again based on the cleanliness and modern feel to the rooms.

Overall the room was clean. The front desk staff was nice and easy to check in at night. The morning staff for check out was ok as well. I do however think the room was not very comfortable to sit in as one of the seats was more of a booth style seat (not able to move) and not suitable, in my opinion, to sit and use table properly and comfortable. The mattress would slide out of place every time I would get up or back in bed. Not sure if mattress should be more secure, but first time I stayed at Motel/Hotel with this style of bed. Rear parking should have more lighting. Front parking is very limited and lighting could still be a little better.

The room had some great features. I liked how there was a big built in chair facing the TV and it had a built in table next to it. Some hotels are designed around using a TV from bed. Didn't actually use the TV. Nice looking flat screen. The bed was very firm. Some people like that, I don't. Walls are thin. Found that out early when a neighbor had their TV on low. Towels felt harsh after a shower...needed softener during the wash? There was only soap. Shampoo was promised. I'm sure the Front desk would have helped, but went without and slept. She's who promised it was in the room. The sink was extremely up to date and I liked how the bath towels were rolled into a perfectly sized display in circles going up next to the seat. The front desk lady was warm and made me happy to stay. I didn't want to pay for a luxury hotel and while they lived up to their price at 5 stars, the few things lacking, which are at all the other economy hotels I've stayed in dropped it 2 stars. I usually stay at economy hotels unless my job puts me up somewhere nicer. On that scale, it may have been 2 stars, but some endearing qualities gave it three.

Motel 6 has a lot of locations which makes it nice as you can pick a location near where you are going to be. The rooms have been up dated and are always clean. I found the staff friendly and helpful. All in all.....it's a comfortable, affordable, and friendly place to stay. I would recommend it to friends as well.

We have stayed at this Motel 6 many times. We were in a non-smoking room. The first thing you do after a long drive is go to the bathroom. Lift up the seat cover and there was a burn to the seat! You can do better Motel 6. Move that seat to a smoking room if you don't have an extra. The bottom sheet on one of the beds felt like tiny little balls all over it. The top sheet was nice. You need to check the linens and throw out the bad ones every now and then.
