I've stayed at motel 6 many times on the west coast and loved it. I booked this hotel for that very reason. I get to the hotel around noon. There is a woman screaming at the front desk that the rooms were not clean, and that 3 year old put a tissue or napkin he found on the floor in his mouth. Who knows if any of this is true, I'm not judging the hotel on a customer, so I check-in anyways. We go up to our room via the front staircase, we get into the room and it smells like cigarettes. That's fine, we are only saying the night and are going to be out most of the time anyways. We put our bags in our room and go take in some sights in the afternoon. We get back to the hotel around 5 pm. There are sketchy shirtless men covered in tattoos sitting on the curb in the back. They stare at us as we go up to our room. While going up the stairs in the back we could smell urine and vomit, with full bags of overflowing garbage just shoved in the stairwell. As we are entering our room someone is screaming that they found a bullet on the floor in a near by room. I look down the balcony's and see a family that looks like they are living in this hotel, with the door open blasting music and everyone hanging around the open door. We enter our room with our 13 year old, and felt very awkward listening to the neighboring tenants having intercourse loud enough for the entire hotel to hear (at 5 in the afternoon). That was the last straw. I decided as a family we were not safe at this hotel. I went down and asked the manager politely if we could get our money back, as all we had done is dropped our bags off. He refused and said we had already been there too long. Now I have to talk to my credit card company. I honestly would not be even writing this if he just apologized and let us be on our way with our money back. He was a total jerk, and just wanted to argue with me. Before I left I took pictures of the disgusting mess this place is. I plan to share them on yelp if I don't get my money back.

Do not STAY HERE! The manager is very rude and the rooms are DIRTY AND SMELL like SMOKE (even the non-smoke) or MILDEW. We were not happy with our room. So he showed us 4 more that smelled way worse. We ended up going down the street to Rodeway Inn (Formerly known as Quality Inn) it was much better. On the outside it looks closed due to construction but it is very much open no smelly rooms and they are very clean and NICE VERY NICE and have breakfast. But this place Motel 6 sucks the manger sucks he is RUDE and his rooms are dirty. DON'T DO IT, even one of the workers was upset the way the manager was speaking to her. The whole time we were trying to figure out everything he treated my boyfriend poorly. Lucky he is better than me and killed him with kindness.

The first room we went into had a leak over the toilet so bad the full tile was soaked and cigarette holes in the comforter. We went to management and informed them and they got us a new room. That room was equally as bad. The rack on the wall was hanging off, linen looked dirty. The place was not clean. Nor was it comfy feeling. The bathroom floor had dirt in the grout and on the floor. If anything positive came from this was the tv and the fact we were there less than 10 hours!!!

Its the worst place i have ever stayed in my life. The top cover of the beds had burn holes on top of them. The floors looked like they never been cleaned. The bathroom door did not close at all it was broken. There was dirt on all the walls. It was just the most terrible experience ever. I would NOT RECOMMEND this this place to no one.

This place doesn't deserve one star. We came to watch a Philly's game and stayed here. When we first walled into our room and looked around, I wanted to RUN!!! The walls were filthy. The microwave and fridge were never cleaned. Then went back to the bathroom...the toilet still had dried pee on the seat with pubic hairs under the seat in the toilet bowel. I literally had to go down to the housekeeper and told her that it was dirty and just got a toilet brush and bleach from her since they don't know how to clean. The Tub was dirty with hair in it. Went to the manager. He came and looked and gave us another room. That one wasn't any better. They don't use pillow case covers and there was a long hair on the one pillow. I would have slept in my car but since I had my boyfriend and another couple with us. I didn't and it was to late to drive 4 hours back home. This hotel should be shut down. The management and staff should be fired!!!! Shame on the managment for allowing these rooms to look like this. I am a housekeeper for a small hotel in my town and we would never let a room look the way these ones did. We will NEVER step foot in this hotel again. We should have known it was gonna be bad. While waiting for the manager to check us in, a couple brought there bedding down. Just checked in and said sheets were dirty and bedding smelled like pee. 😡😡😡
