My stay was the worst I've ever had at a Motel 6. The room wasn't thoroughly cleaned. I say that because we found a bottle with cigarette butts and water inside one of the drawers of the dresser. The phone in the room wasn't actually plugged into the wall because the plug was broken. We realized that after trying to call the front office to tell them that there was a roach in our room. After calling from a cell phone we talked to the front desk clerk and she offered to give us a $10 discount, which after checking my card the discount was not applied. So I paid full price for a dirty room with roaches that we didn't feel comfortable staying in the entire night. We left early. I will also be reviewing this Motel 6 on Yelp. Very disappointed and will never go there again.

The front desk clerk was very helpful, professional and friendly. Room has it's own fridge and microwave (I was impressed). I'd paid more on other hotels before and they didn't have a fridge. For the price I paid, it was so worth it! When traveling, just stopping for sleeping, it was worth it. I would book again.

The room: Cockroaches galore. We killed at least 15 before going to bed. Hotel did not have another room and other hotels were booked so we had no choice. Management reduced the rate, but a room like this should never carry your name. The smoke alarm had been ripped off from the ceiling. The light at the wash basin flickered like a strobe light. The temperature of the water at the shower could not be controlled as the handle rotated freely. Only one bath towel in the room; when I called the front desk I was told to go down to the front desk to get them. The front desk area was nice and clean. The stairs to the room were strewn with trash, other rooms had broken glass or door locks; we should have known.

The carpet was filthy. Turned our feet black, never step on it with bare feet filthy. Another guest asked me if our carpet was dirty, so it wasn't just our room. I told the clerk, who just smirked. There was an intermittent smell of urine--perhaps from the filthy carpet. We got one hand towel and two bath towels. No wash cloths. There was a tissue dispenser that remained empty even after the room was serviced. The card key had to be reactivated every day. The thermostat broke and we had to call twice before someone came to look at it. We were very disappointed and this will likely be our last stay at a Motel 6.

The room was not clean. We walked our dog in the parking lot and ran across two homeless camps on the back of the lot. We did not fill safe. There wtlere people in the room above us that had to be removed. At least that is what the front desk employees were talking about when we arrived. Should they call the police or not to get them out. All I know is when they came back to their room the noise they made was unbelievable. Constant stomping and furniture being moved around the room. We think they were on some type of speed. So I repeat! We did not fill safe and will never stay there again.
