They say this is a primary care clinic, but then bill you for both a clinic visit and a hospital visit. They say they can do this because it is owned by the hospital. An initial consult to set up care with a physician is costing me over $200 WITH amazing insurance covering most of it... be careful. I have never had to pay more than a co-pay with any other doctor I have seen.

Today is Friday Jan 26, 2018 and this is regarding the family practice at 650 Ellis Oak Charleston SC 29412. I reached their offsite location who transferred me to their front desk after I advise that taking a message for a call back wouldn’t help. I reached Anthony who placed me on hold for 18mins to search without having any of my information. He returned of course asking me for my information to look for my fax. I advised that my fax was sent days ago to be completed for my daughter to attend camp today. He stated that I spoke with Anne who had already left the office for the weekend and he could leave a message for her to call me back. I asked to speak with someone of mangement but he informed that no one was available bc they are now closed. He took a message for Yan Gros but I still express the need to speat with someone today bc without this form that I sent days ago my daughter will miss camp and I will lose out on money paid for camp. Ms rude Nicole got on the phone without introducing herself, speaking over me stating that they are late for a meeting. She could not answer how it’s my fault that they are now closed and not willing to help locate my fax after having me hold while “checking out other patients”. While trying she explain that the fax is needed today she transferred me back in the system/automated system. I will definitely find another practice, this one has truly went downhill and the ppl are rude and have no care. This isn’t the first time . It took them two weeks to return an FMLA form almost missing my deadline!!!! Ridiculous Dr Freely you’re losing a patient and probably many more!!!

The staff are nice, however inflexible if things come up affecting your appointment time. Will threaten to no longer admit you to their location. Dr is nice, however no real empathy or urgency in their practice. Too many of my visits made zero progress on my condition. Now go to HealthFirst. HealthFirst did in one visit what took this location 15 visits.

Dr.White is a rock star! His experienced medical guidance and well performed surgery help improve our child's quality of life. I don't care what it costs. Totally worth every penny. The nurses and staff are incredible to work with. We are huge local fans. The overall medical knowledge and combined experience is light years ahead of the minute clinics that over prescribe without looking deeper around town. They only place we will take our children. Highly recommend!
