Nice secluded sites in the second loop in the channel. They don't pack you in like sardines. The rangers are very helpful and friendly. They are constantly patrolling the grounds. Only gave 4 stars because I didn't check out the bathrooms. This is my new favorite state park.

Lots of activities. Fishing. Biking. Hiking. Swimming. Sightseeing. Beautiful lake Michigan beach. However, needs updated and clean restrooms-showers.

Campsites were great a little crowded. Beach and dunes were beautiful there was so much to do and see. The price was a bit high and we also had an extra fee for having an out of state car. The bathroom and showers were full mosquito's and very dirty. The price was extremely high for one night of primitive camping was at least expecting cleaner facilities.
