Such a beautiful space for short-term and long-term campers with fun things to do throughout the summer, especially for children giving the adults a moment to relax! Gorgeous parks and trails for the nature lovers and athletes, an awesome playground but it would have been nice to swing and a better bathroom cleaning schedule ; ) overall fantastic I'll be back!

Love it, gorgeous views where ever you go. There are a lot of families here though, so all you can hear during the day is children screaming

Way over priced, too many people in one small space, a hassle to deal with, if u have an extra car they tell you to go park at Walmart. Horrible place to camp

Campfire cologne, near to stores for essential/forgotten items, hearing the boats, and you can't go wrong being that close to Lake Michigan!!!

A few friends and I tent-camped at PJ Hoffmaster for one night and found it quite nice. Beware the pine trees that drip sap, but it'll wash off eventually. There are many wonderful trails and a quaint little stream that run through the campground. The fire pits are nice and sturdy as well, and our electrical hookup was nice and close to the site. For the kids, there is a playground, activity field, and the campground host puts out craft activities. The bathrooms are nice and very clean. And of course, there is a wonderful Lake Michigan sand beach accessible by trail. Beautiful! :)
