I read a few reviews that caused me to give my experience. I live local. I have gone to Myrt and Lucy's often. My wife and I never have had a long wait to be setted. We never had a abnormally long wait time for our order. The most awesome part of going there is the WOW factor tasty food and the fact that you get the equivalent of 2 to 3 meal proportions for the moderate price of one meal. Can not say enough good things about Myrt and Lucy's.

Love coming here! My daughter can play in the kids area. Excellent food and portions. I feel at home here. Staff is very friendly and caring. Owners care about the community.

Gross food and slow service. Really dirty grimey facilities and incredibly rude waitstaff. I would never go here again and am pretty disappointed we were duped by what I would assume are FAKE positive reviews.

I'm not one to write reviews, but I can't help but feel compelled to after my experience on Sunday. If you want to know the quick synopsis, the food was tasty and a great bang for your buck, but the service and the wait time was ridiculous. However, if you're interested in hearing my full opinion, hang on tight because this might be a long one. The vibe of the place when we first walked in was awesome: live music, a rustic feel -- we were happy with our choice of restaurant. When the "hostess" came to greet us minutes after standing by the front desk, she didn't offer a smile or a hello, and rather said, "Who is next?" and lead us to our table after we told her we would be a table of 5. When we were sat, it was then that she told us that we would not be greeted by our waitress for another 20 minutes. While we were willing to wait, it was strange that we had been brought to our table before anyone had mentioned a wait to us since the restaurant was only half full. We sat for ten minutes before a friend and I decided to go up to the bar to ask for waters for our table since we were thirsty. The same woman that seated us was at the bar and when we asked for waters, we were told she was unable to because they didn't have a bartender that day. We were a bit confused as we had just asked for five waters, but rather than make a big deal of it, decided to wait for our server. Once our server made it to the table, we asked for waters and placed our order right away. It did mention on the menu that there would be a wait, so we expected 30-45 minutes before we got our food. She brought waters to our table pretty quickly and we were content, chatting and listening to the music. It was after an hour that we began to get impatient. Our server just once stopped by to "make sure we were okay" during the time which we were waiting. The music stopped, and for awhile, there was complete silence. A woman made her way up to the speaker to turn on their Sirus FX Radio, but instead of music, we heard 20 minutes of the same advertisement repeating over and over. While this was a technological error, it became annoying as we were already agitated about our long wait. At just under an hour and a half wait, our server brought out 1 of the 5 breakfast plates. Thankfully, our friend decided not to wait for us to get our food, because she had her plate 15 minutes before any of us saw ours, meanwhile two other tables who were there after us were being served theirs. When the food finally came out, we were beyond frustrated with the entire situation, and asked for to-go boxes and our check. The few bites I had in the meantime were awesome. One of my friends had complaints that her food wasn't warm and they had forgotten her toast, and another they had forgotten her eggs on her skillet. Beyond those few small mishaps, everyone enjoyed their food. Our server was apologetic, but there was still nothing she did that helped the situation. I understand being under-staffed and having long waits, trust me, but the pace at which everyone was moving was ridiculously slow. The only time we saw anyone smile was on our way out too. All in all, it was a frustrating situation, and I would only ever suggest this to people who have a few hours to kill and don't mind sub-par service.

Wow! Highest quality food I've ever had in a restaurant! Great sizes, great service, great view, stuff to do for the whole family, and you've got to try this caramel bread pudding! It's the best thing I've ever eaten :-) Thanks so much for that, it help me make it on my long journey home :-)
