The WWI Museum is a great experience. You can enjoy great views of Kansas City, especially from the top of the tower. Highly recommend you go up to the top. There are so many interesting items, videos and stories. The introduction video they have you start off with is informative of how the war got started. The volunteers are very knowledgeable and helpful. This is a must-do if you're from out of town.

I totally recommend this place if you are visiting Kansas City! You won't want to miss going up into the memorial for a stunning view of the entire city! If you are planning on visiting this place, please give yourself at least two whole days to visit! There is so much to see here that it will take you that long to actually enjoy the experience. My husband and I enjoy history, especially war history. But that being said, I can see people who do not enjoy history as much as we do enjoying this place because while there is a LOT of information to read, there are also TONS of artifacts, movies, and interactive experiences here. There are also plenty of things for kids to interact with as well.

Absolutely worth it. You can purchase tickets and still come back the following day to complete the tour and look around. This worked out great for us and our schedule. Every aspect of this was really cool and everything was laid out in an organized way. The view from the Liberty Memorial Tower is totally awesome. Parking was good and the staff was very friendly and informative.

One of the best monuments and museums around. This museum rivals what you find in DC and surrounding areas. So much packed into a nice area of Kansas City. It showcases almost every bit of information that you could want to know and see from WWI. From timelines, weapons, uniforms, and military vehicles can be seen. This museum takes a whole day just to get everything in. The people that work there are amazing and very friendly. This should be a stop that no one misses when visiting KC.

This museum is one of my favorites. You get to enjoy so much for an excellent price. It's the kind of place you can spend the entire day in but still visit again and again to walk away learning something new. Equipped with a wonderful and informative staff, you'll leave this place thinking about the next time you get to go back. Whether you live in KC or you're just passing through, you'll never waste a day here.
