The museum is one of those places you need to visit when spending any time in Kansas City. It's more than just a place to go for history buffs. There are many displays and pieces to view. They have several short movies that provides more details and experiences from the papers and diaries of the people involved in the fighting. The tower provides a fantastic view of the surrounding area.

Amazing! I can't tell you how much my grandsons enjoyed our visit. A must see! One day a year people in Kansas City get in free. Don't forget to go to the top of the memorial when you are the there. Occasionally the memorial is open at night and well worth seeing. Very romantic at night. Great place for taking pictures up in the tower or on the ground. A Kansas City jewel.

I think I already wrote about this place. It's great and it's the only one in the country.

Amazing! Very well laid out and easy to get around. The guides were incredibly helpful to anyone who approached them! Being a nurse, I'm so pleased with the amount of medical history they have convered! If it had been a slow day I would have probably shed some tears reading the accounts of the people. Wonderful souvenir shop!

I liked their way of so nice presentation. But feel sorry to see wars without any benefit to mankind and with loss of millions of lives.
