A few years ago, we called on our furnace.  We were told by the technician to "leave our home because it was dangerous" and that we needed to replace our furnace immediately.  He explained the issues and I asked many questions.  I called my husband and we did our research.  Then we called another company for a second opinion.  Meanwhile, the owner came to our home to let us know all about what furnace we should purchase and attempted to sell us one on the spot. 
The second company came the next day and explained the issue with our furnace, but was honest about what we could do to either repair or replace.  
This was approximately 5 years ago and we have made zero repairs to the furnace.  
The integrity of the technician was terrible and the owner/salesman wasn't completely honest either.  
We would never recommend them as a company.

The furnace in our rental home was giving the tenants problems, so we scheduled an appointment with Neighborhood to go take a look.  A technician, named Eric, reported back to us that the 24 year old furnace had a prior recall, and would need to be replaced.  He also discovered that the water heater had not been installed properly years ago, and was leaking.  It would need to be replaced too.

I had never purchased a furnace before, so Eric educated me about the different models available, and their efficiency ratings. We purchased the water heater at a home improvement store, and were charged only for the installation.  

Neighborhood was able to install both units in a matter of hours, which was wonderful, since it was winter and it was essential to have heat.

We're very pleased with the service Neighborhood provided, and plan to recommend them to family and friends.

I recently just bought my first home, when I went to turn my AC on this week nothing happened. I called Neighborhood and got an appointment set up right away. The call was delayed by a thunderstorm but Neighborhood was great in calling me and keeping me updated on the time of my service. 

As for the service call itself. Evan was the one to come out to the house to take a look for me. I can not say enough great words about him. He was very informative and taught me things to watch for and to do in the future. Although my first service call made me hesitant he walked me through the issues he thought it may be the whole time. He was friendly and professional, but most importantly efficient. After trying a few different things he found that I just needed to replace our thermostat to get everything up in running. 

After my great experience with Evan, and the company itself I will definitely be calling Neighborhood again in the future! :)

Our technician saved us thousands of dollars by being honest with us and telling us that we DID NOT need a new air conditioner.  Rather we could just fix our 13 year old unit at a fraction of the cost.  Furthermore, the 3 other heating/cooling specialists that gave us bids and/or inspected our unit tried to sell us a new unit.  Thank God we called Neighborhood Plumbing and Heating!

We scheduled a furnace inspection to assure us our heating system was running efficiently and alert us to any potential problems. During the inspection, three issues were discovered and recommended be done. We chose to follow the recommendations  and Mike P. was able to do the service work the same day. 

Mike P.,  was professional and gave us a detailed explanation of all the work he would be doing.

Would highly recommend this company.
