Story

Neighbors Credit Union, established in 1928, is a not-for-profit, full service financial cooperative owned and controlled by its members. Neighbors Credit Union is one of the strongest financial institutions in Missouri and is open to the communities of St. Louis City (MO), St. Louis County (MO), St. Charles County (MO), Jefferson County (MO), St. Clair County (IL), Madison County (IL) and Monroe County (IL). At Neighbors, we’re more about common sense than dollars and cents. So if you’ve finally had enough of your bank, remember: you don’t need a bank. You’ve got Neighbors.

I was more than impressed with the great service I received at this bank! Everyone there has great customer service, and work very hard to help you. After applying online to re-finance my car, I received a call from Terrance. He was very genuine, kind, and really wanted to help me.When I went in to re-finance my car loan, I sat down with Chelsea. She was so kind and helpful! I was blown away by how hard and speedy she worked to get my vehicle refinanced! I wouldn't recommend any other bank! Terrance and Chelsea are great employees!

Went into the Howdershell location on the 3rd of September to get a cashier check. Only to find out they postmarked it for the 6th. Now my apartment complex is saying i was late on my rent. Very upset... Ready to close my account if this cant be resolved.

Originally I was very excited to become a member of this bank...until I had an issue. I had called the bank and left messages with the Assistant Branch Manager and never received a phone call or e-mail back. I went into the bank and spoke with the Assistant Branch Manager and was told, “There is nothing we can do” and that he would call me back with a phone number I can call. He never called me back. I then called the corporate office where I was told “There is nothing we can do.” I ended up paying $75 in fees which could have been resolved earlier if I wasn't treated in such a way. I'll be going back to my old bank.
