I have never known of a psychiatrist to operate in a manner as he does. He shows no level of professionalism within his psychiatric specialty at all.  Zero respect for his patients time and welfare.
He will keep you waiting up to 45 minutes after your scheduled appointment.  He accepts phone calls in the middle of your session.
He allows his secretary to have prescriptions written out for another individual for a NEW medication!
He clearly accepts too many patients since he can't seem to service the ones he has properly.
He is not a doctor that knows how to ask the patient the right questions to get at the core of a problem.  He has zero therapist skills, although he seems to want to play the role of therapist, MD & marriage counselor all in one session despite the only reason for the appt was for a medication check in, which he does not properly handle to begin with.
No matter what a patient tells him, he just says ok and then goes forward. He lacks the ability to determine the credibility of what a patient tells him and he lacks the skill to stick to the reason the patient is there.
But for him to take personal phone calls during a patients session is outrageous.  To make a patient wait any longer than 5 minutes after theie scheduled appt is as unprofessional as can be.  AND - there was even a day when I was scheduled and he wasn't even at work that day. Did anyone call me to re-schedule?  Heck NO!  This man shouldn't be allowed to practice in his chosen  field.
