New China Moon is tied for first for the best Chinese restaurants in town with Golden Dragon. Both have awesome tasting food and they both are super super friendly. Anyone that said they are a poor quality Restaurante are not right in the head. New China Moon is awesome!

The food is so hot and delicious and I love my veggie based orders.  Right at my doorstep!  You can't go wrong ordering from them.  I thank them for everything.  Their food is so fulfilling!!!

This place is best known for their take out, but the dining area is spacious and clean. Compared to their competitors, their cooking has a milder almost sweeter taste (as opposed to a saltier taste). This is why I alternate between this place and Great Wall in Urbandale. One fact that I want to be known is that they will provide a "Japanese" style menu upon request. This does not mean that they serve Japanese food, but Chinese food that Japanese people tend to like cooked the way they like (like in Chinese restaurants in Japan). Regardless, many of the selections on this menus are superb and offer a very different variety from the normal menu. Another little gem in Battle Creek that I love. They also deliver so that's another added bonus about New China Moon.

ive eaten here twice and neither time have i been impressed. the meat in the food was chewy, fatty and had bone in it even.  the meals options and sides are majorly lacking when compared to other establishments. i assume go elsewhere personally. but if youre in the mood for mediocre bland take out. this might be for you.
