This from a VERY, very satisfied Reebie / Allied Van Lines customer. First ever Yelp or Google review. 

We needed to move the contents of a 3 bedroom furnished rental townhouse in downtown Chicago, loaded with a full line of fine furniture, from Chicago, IL to Westfield, NJ to gift our younger family members. This on very short notice from our long-term tenants, two weeks in advance of their moving date, after they had earlier assured us that they would be moving on their scheduled lease end date a few months later. Phooey to those tenants with whom we did and continued to think that we had a good relationship. 

Upon our contacting them, Reebie / Allied Van Lines responded immediately. The other major cross-country movers who initially said they would book us for the move, crapped out. The others later said that they had over-committed and did not have capacity to move us on our tight time line. That's just like many of the major airlines do when they find themselves "overbooked." They kick you out. Not Reebie.    

All of the Reebie / Allied Van Line team could not have been more helpful. Reebie committed to us and Rebbie followed through. 

Tim Granata, the Estimator who graciously came out a couple of times to adjust estimates, Carmen Carter, Home Office Customer Care Representative, who sent us a couple of revised estimates, and Billy Rizer, the crew chief for the move, with a crew of 5 others on the front end and Anthony, who along with Billy to transport the goods from Chicago, IL and deliver the goods to Westfield, NJ. Each and every one of them on each and every encounter, was most gracious and accommodating. Special service: I was surprised and delighted that Reebie sent two men on the morning of the moving date, before the movers came, to special pack three 6' X 2.5' granite table tops. 

Our younger family members on the NJ end said that Billy Rizer was a true gentleman and could not have performed better. And, Billy, if you read this, thank you.  

Something like 30 to 40 years ago, my husband and I regularly used Reebie when we had a need to transport fine furniture of which we have plenty, a lot of museum quality goods. I am glad that Reebie is still going strong. We plan to use Reebie when we do our personal move from our 6,000 + square foot house in downtown Chicago to elsewhere.
