Dr Rauth's experience and knowledge kept my Mom alive years longer than she would have been with us. I would not hesitate to see him myself if I medically needed to.

The NM Medical Board trying to force this wonderful doctor out of business just shows how they are not there to do their "mission" - "to protect the public". So many of us have been left in a bind as we loved Dr. Rauth, were stable and/or improving and now you're taking it away from us. Never mind destroying him completely in the process. His only crime was caring too much about all of us - so that left him open to attack by people with ulterior motives. It's vile overall. Anyway, Dr. Rauth was the best doctor I had ever had! He always took as much time in the room with you as you needed. He'd thoroughly answer every question you'd have and also explain anything very technical in a simple way that didn't make you feel talked down to. One of the most caring and compassionate people I have ever met. I always felt like he cared about the whole person - physically, mentally, and emotionally. He's very intelligent and knowledgeable and the few times he felt something was too much to be able to be adequately cared for in our area he would consult with doctors at larger institutes to arrange for the proper care. It takes a very special, humble type of person to say "ok I think we need to try something that I can not provide". Dr. Rauth is always wiling to stick his neck out in order to do everything he can for his patient. And if you read these Doctor Rauth - know a lot of us still care - forget about all of the selfish ones.

I had to put 1 star otherwise it would be minus 5. This man nearly cost me my life by missing the cancer I was diagnosed with had already metastisized to a near fatal point. After initial surgery I spent 5 months under his care in which he never examined me, checked my vitals, ignored all pleas by me how sick I was, the weight I lost, he couldn;t decide on what kind of chemo he should give me so every month as I got sicker he would tell me I looked beautiful and had a hard surgery,,,NO DR>>> you failed to treat me... I am alive now by the grace of God and a 2 year fight. Stay away from this killer. I have spoken to many who have lost loved ones through this lack of diagnosis or have suffered themselves. If you are being treated by him don't be mislead by his charm.. find yourself another Dr. and save your life.
