This is very much a practice focused solely on how many people they can shove through their system for a profit. Appointments are only available months in advance and we just waited over an hour before we finally left They do not respect their patient's time. We have gone here in the past and still have the same knee issue a year in. I would not recommend this practice.

Dr. Babinski was my knee surgeon when I tore three ligaments at once in my right knee. He did a damn good job and his staff is awesome. Dr. Hansen has been dealing with spinal pain and he is a riot and so is his staff. You can tell that they care, they remember you, that even though the place is insanely busy I have never been tempted to go anywhere else.

I had screw backing out of ankle fusion after only five months of surgery and they wouldn't see me for six weeks then told me to go to emergency room. I found another surgeon with Foot and Ankle Institute that took me right in and took care of problem. He also found a couple other problems he is helping me with. This isn't first problem I've had with New Mexico Orthopaedic and will never go back. New Mexico Orthopaedic is no more than a surgery mill and don't care about patients just income.

The New Mexico Orthopedics Surgery Center was fantastic. Every one i spoke to was very kind, and comforting. Surgery is a scary thing, however this group of people radiate with confidence and warmth.

Love the Center, nurses, most staff and LOVE LOVE my doctor Franco!! Hate Billing dept. Forced to overpay by almost $900 and now 3 months later, they will NOT refund my money. EOB says issues not payable and NOT patient responsiblity, and since they appealed, they are keeping MY refund until appeal is done. Billing does not answer phone or return phone calls. Notes made by billing were not truthful (maybe insurance fraud?) Very angry and frustrated. This is unprofessional and untrustworthy.
