Save yourself the headache and come here FIRST!! Amazing selection, variety, service, and lets talk about the sizes of gowns they have to try on! I couldn't even try on any dresses at other local bridal shops...not a problem here! They have a large plus size wedding dress section, many were even too big for me and they had to clip them on me, and they have large sizes in bridesmaids too so it was easy for my all of my girls to try on styles. Wish I could give it 10 stars!

The first time I visited New York Bride was on a Saturday, and I'm not going to lie, it was very overwhelming. There were tons of brides-to-be, bridesmaids, and mothers-of-the-bride throughout the store shopping for dresses. It was hard to find a free mirror. I left disappointed, because I did not find a dress that I loved. However, I gave it a second chance and went back on a Tuesday evening, and I am so glad I did. I would highly recommend going on a weekday if you can. There were only a few other people in the store, which meant that most of the dresses were available to try on instead of being tied up in dressing rooms. Lori started helping me as soon as I entered the store, and after I explained what I was looking for, she went to work grabbing dresses for me - both ones that I had requested and ones that she thought I would like. After trying on numerous dresses and narrowing it down to two, one of the ones that she picked out for me was in my final two. She really took into consideration what I was looking for. Kate was also very helpful and took care of all of my sizing and alteration requests. She even called the designer to see if they would make some changes to a dress for me. Overall, I would definitely recommend New York Bride if you are looking for a wedding gown. The venue is very nice, and Lori and Kate were great to work with!

After visiting thirty or so bridal shops, we found the crown jewel. Competent friendly people, a wide variety of spectacular wedding gowns, prices for any budget and the most skilled alterations person I ever met. If you are getting married,  make this your first stop!

Walked in to look for a maid of honor dress only had dresses in size 12 which in normal sizes is an 8. I'm normally a 12-14 so nothing fit. I walked right back out. If I can't try anything on I'm not buying anything from you. Also they have no mother of the bride dresses. They said they were to expensive to carry.

Lisa and Rachel were the best! Everyone was so nice and they were all happy when I said yes to the dress! The environment was great! Everyone and everything was prefect! Thank you everyone for such an awesome experience! And size options are awesome!
