Took my 17-year-old cat there yesterday to see Dr. Patel and I've never been so pleased with a vet in my life! He was so caring and compassionate and so were his techs. I couldn't figure out what was causing my baby so much pain and turns out he broke a tooth. The Dr. handled him calmly and knew exactly what the issue was. Thanks to him my cat is going to be okay. I'd recommend this vet to anyone!

Dr. Patel is very caring and compassionate. My Yorkie was feeling sick, I scheduled an appt and they saw me right away. They ran a blood test and referred me to a veterinary specialist for a liver ultrasound. Long story short, my poor yorkie was diagnose with stage 4 liver cancer. Dr Patel and the specialist from VSEC are working together so that my yorkie can live her last days comfortably. I’ve never met such a caring VET and I appreciated everything he’s doing for us, I couldn’t ask for a more caring doctor for my yorkie. Thank you Dr. Patel and Staff.

DO NOT GO HERE!! The vet is horrible. He can't even properly open an extremely ill and extremely calm and friendly animal's mouth to properly diagnose a TUMOR under the tongue, and so my cat almost bled to death in my home hours after seeing this terrible "vet". I had to rush him to the ER vet so he did not bleed out. Then they never bothered to call to even offer condolences. Then they argued that the doctor didn't do anything wrong. THE DOCTOR DIDN'T *DO* ANYTHING EXCEPT MISDIAGNOSE AND CHARGE ME $195! AVOID!

They are very nice and they took very good care of my pet while she stayed over night and they gave me a courtesy call to let me know how my pet was doing and when it was ok to pick her up n I'm getting ready to drop off another pet of mine to hv him neutered n declawed my vet bill was 366.00 not bad compared to other vets they wlda charged me roughly 800 for a neutered n declawed. Very pleased with the Newport Animal Hospital.
