About

The Bridge Clinic offers wellness and spay/neuter appointments for cats and dogs.

Story

What started out as a love for animals has blossomed over the years into a passion for saving homeless, unwanted and abandoned cats, kittens and other pets for owner/operator Michele Miller. It was by chance and later necessity that Michele was introduced into the world of rescue twenty years ago when she began as a foreclosure appraiser. She saw first hand kittens and cats locked in foreclosed houses without food or water, neglected and abandoned pets roaming the streets, and animals struggling to survive outside in the elements. This led Michele to start Rescue Purrfect, a not profit organization helping abandoned, stray, rescued, and injured cats by providing quality shelter and foster care. Michele continues to work with various communities in Philadelphia, Bucks and surrounding areas, educating neighborhoods with assisting them in managing and establish healthy colonies, donating food, and offering no cost or low cost spay/neuter and wellness care to owners of cats or colonies in their areas. Michele's ultimate goal is: to adopt-out friendly, healthy animals to loving homes, ensure established colonies are healthy and safe and to offer low cost veterinary care to the public.

I took my kitten here to be spayed and chipped and all went well. On other occasions I have been there with my sick dog and was very unimpressed with the vet. I guess its a matter of what you are going there for.

My husband and I fell in love with a kitten which seemed like a great fit for our family. Unfortunately, the adoption process is terrible. Adopting a pet is supposed to bring joy, instead it brought us stress, anxiety, and a trip to the ER. Yes, my husband literally bled for this rescue. Then after numerous calls and a house inspection, we were told that the kitten we were interested in bonded with another kitten and if we can take two and that they have someone else interested in the kitten. I've gotten cars with no credit easier than this. I understand rescues are trying to avoid an unfortunate situation but they do more harm than good. Save yourself the money, headache and heartache and go to a shelter that's not rescue run. Thanks Cheryl.

They were alittle ruff with my cat.... I told them not to clip my cat's nails and they clip them to the point where they were damn near to the back of the nail it was bleeding bad. Their Eyes Were watering like crying crazy like something I don't know how to explain it. But the spaying was okay..and now i think they got fleas from there too😾😾😾

I brought my cat to this clinic in a fully healthy state and in one piece. When he was picked up he was covered in scratches on his back, sides, shoulder blades, under front leg, and foot. Before my husband could even ask what happened the woman who works there said he did it to himself. My cat is a sphinx and has sensitive skin because he has no fur and the scratches are very deep. It is very clear that the scratches are from claws of another animal, probably one from their shelter, and definitely not self inflicted. The operation itself, the neutering, was done well. I wasn't the one who picked him up my husband was, and he didn't really think about the scratches he was just there to take our cat home. The clinic needs to take responsibility for not only the procedures they perform but also what happens to the animals while they are in their care.
