Amazing care. I went twice in one month for cat scan and X Ray's for blood clots. They are all amazing and was really looked after so we'll both times. It makes scary times easier when you are on your own. Amazing staff!!

I've herd many times that Methodist is a great Hospital, I wonder why? Maybe, because it's located in the heart of Park Slope? In reality try not listen to the hype. I visit this Hospital on a regular basis and I have nothing positive to mention. The Emergency Room is the worst compared to Lutheran Medical Center, and Maimoides. Methodist Hospital has the worst wait time compared to the other E.R. I have mentioned above.

Picture this scenario happening TWICE in the same hospital for in a 30 day timeframe: Ambulatory Care surgery schedules you for 9:30 AM, & according to their policy you have to arrive TWO hours early (7:30 arrival time) you must come in fasted obviously. And then at 11 AM you run in to the doctor (yes I ran into him, he was not actively looking for me to keep me updated because the nurses were not providing answers to the delay) and then he tells you that the machine that is needed for my surgery is not at the hospital. Yes you read that right, they called me the day before to confirm a surgery when the equipment was not even on site. I understand that situations arise, but TWICE? Come on. So the doctor tells me, that I'm next door the procedure at 11:30. Guess what? I didn't even get called into the O.R. until 2 PM. Yup, I didn't complaint until 1:00 PM when I already had an 8/10 headache. So procedure finally over, get discharged from Ambulatory Care in a rush, I felt as in a restaurant when they're trying to get customers out to clear tables. Ask to speak to the doctor about the pressure: they say to me (verbatim): " doctors don't come out unless something went bad, so I guess everything went ok." Thank you nurse for your guess, I hope you're right, but can you please at least call my doctor to ask him? In summary: the staff is really good but my likely hood to recommend this hospital is ZERO. Yes I would give them zero, actually I can give them 2 zeros because it felt like Deja Vu the second time that it happened twice within a 30 day period

Elizabeth at SOUTH 7 was amazing. Took great care of everyone , including my mother. Didn't get a chance to say good bye as she was discharged on a Sunday. Thank you so much Elizabeth! Was a decent hospital with very nice nurses. Food could be better but it's a hospital, you can't expect much.

Be warned: stay away from Methodist. We have never had a good experiene in their er. This last time is borderline, if not, actual malpractice. This hospital is the worst! Went in with a referral from a dermatologist to have an abscess drained. Some incompetent PA laughed at me, told me my doctor was a wuss, and used her thick, unsterilized hands to squeezed the abscess—releasing the infection into my bloodstream. I had to beg for an antibiotic. By that night half my face was swollen with a bacterial infection only Bactrian could handle. And I have a scar.
