Story

Thanks for checking out Next Edge Academy located at 39th and Phillips, inside the X-Fitness building. If you are interested in Mixed Martial Arts, Muay Thai, Kumdo or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, this is the gym for you.
All our coaches have been teaching their art for at least eight years. We are proud to say that when it comes to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, Kumdo or Muay Thai, no one in the area has more experience. In fact, you would have to drive to Omaha or Minneapolis to get the level of experience we are offering here. That ‘s the reason why we give you two weeks free to come in and try our classes and compare them to our competitors’. We want to prove that we are your best choice in Sioux Falls.
We understand that, initially, you may feel intimidated by the thought of combat sports but know that safety is most important at our gym. We never push students to compete or spar. However, if you are interested in competing, we have several World Class competitors that can improve your game, including a World Championship Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor, a World Ranked MMA fighter and a National Champion Muay Thai boxer, just to name a few.
