Fantastic place.    Hot links are great.  Great small place to grab breakfast downtown.  Went on a weekday, so it wasn't busy.  Not sure about the weekends.  I could be happy on a Sunday eating eggs here, if it's not busy.

Nice diner atmosphere. Friendly service. Good food & huge servings. Service was a bit slow considering the small crowd & time of day.

Great little greasy spoon dinerette there on the corner,  mighty tasty food. I had the meatloaf for breakfast at lunch!  It was very good.   The place has a 3 sided counter after about 5 to 6 a side.  Very cozy.  Coffee is good as well.   This place is a good place for the area.   Comfort food addicts shouldn't be disappointed.   Next time I'll grab a melt , burger or something else fried!

Who doesn't love a good diner? Well Nick's is the best one in the city. 
Grab a seat at the horseshoe counter next to a grouchy LAPD officer and order the Nick's special and get ready to eat yourself into a joyful coma

Everything comfort is fantastic here: 
The biscuits and gravy
The sausage
The pancakes
The omletes
The ham

They also have giant bottles of salsa that you should put on everything

The service is phenomenal, the food is great. The wait wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. 10/10 will come back again
