I used the Costco auto program website to find a Nissan dealership they work with to trade in my 2015 Frontier. I live in Long Beach so the 40min+ drive seemed too much. I received a call from Claudia and she told me I could use two other discounts which were "Owner Loyalty" and AAA. So that reeled me in. I was told that I would be in and out in 1hr 30min. I decided on a vehicle right away and then they took about an hour to get a quote. They wanted me to pay $800+/mo a month for a 2017 Frontier with 19000+ miles. I couldn't pay that much and told them I needed a price range or $550-$600/mo. The salesman sent over his supervisor which started talking aggressive to me. He told me that it's ridiculous to get a payment that low and that if I agree to pay $800/mo it could really skyrocket my credit score and that I will be driving away in a newer vehicle, etc... The trade in I had was a 2015 with 16k miles, I was taking a 2017 with 19k miles. He kept talking down to me until I requested my keys and registration back. He walked away and the first salesman came back to negotiate another price but I was already upset realizing I had already wasted 4hrs so again I requested my belongings back. Then the finance manager came to me which really set me off. I started yelling and threatening to call the police because they were retaining my keys and registration so the manager apologized to me and gave me a $600/mo quote after. What was supposed to take an hour and a half, took 6 hrs and before signing I requested a spare key and remote. They agreed to it but never honored it. During the test drive, the truck had all floor mats but when it was driven up to deliver it to me, the two front floor mats were missing. I didn't notice since it was very late and I was tired. So the next day I noticed the missing floor mats and remembered the spare I requested. They told me that there's nothing they could do for me. The salesman and finance manager (which agreed to the spare) "had the day off and will not be in" I went to the dealership and I saw them both. I confronted them about the floor mats and spare key but they said they couldn't do anything either. I told them to at least give me the floor mats of the 2015 I traded in... At least I got that much. Horrible experience. Never dealing with Nissan dealers ever again.

This place is AWESOME! From the time we walked in to the time we drove out with our new 2018 Altima! Every single person we came in contact with was friendly, professional and super helpful. We walked in with nothing (literally) and walked out with complete satisfaction. I love their hospitality, their attention and their ability to go above and beyond to get you the best deal possible. A million THANKS to Oscar Panuco, Francisco, Jason, Raul and Brandon. You guys rock! Nissan @ Duarte is the BEST!

I thought I had left this review back when I bought my car from Nissan of Duarte 3/2016. ALL I CA N SAY IS DON'T EVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! Not only did they talk me into the wrong car with the sales man bringing the contract back to my house for me to sign at 9 on a Sunday night .The dealership also lost my check (I was fortunate enough to be able to write a check for the full amount due to a settlement) with their entire deposit for that day. It took the dealership 4 months to finally call me to tell me they " misplaced" my check. Guess I didn't act fast enough for them because in July they had the gall to send me a demand for payment in full no later than a week from the date of the letter! I had already given them a check for payment in full and I had the title to the car. How does a dealership lose a check for the total amount of a car plus their entire deposit for that day and then tell the customer it's their fault. The day I took it in for them to detail it they had the car for 6 hours. I was called to tell me my car was ready went to pick it up in the car was not touched it was I think dirtier than when I took it in. I would not even give them a star but you have to in order to post your review so my review maybe late and I hope it helps some people as far as wanting to buy a car from Nissan of Duarte but trust me there's other Nissan dealerships within 10 miles. I won't even take my car back there for service because they can't do one thing right with my experience anyway! 😠

I started the airbag recall process on my 2011 Nisan Versa in October of 2017. I went into the service department to let them get the vin to order parts. I called multiple times in the next two months regarding the timeline on parts being assured it would only take a couple weeks to get them once they were order. Finally in January someone from the parts department told me the parts were never ordered. They did so at the time of the call. A little over a week later I was called in for the first of what would be 4 visits to complete the airbag recalls which turned out to be be multiple recalls each of which was ordered at a different time. None of which were revealed to me until I was picking my car up from what I thought was the completion of the work. The last parts were back ordered and took two or three months to get in. I finally got a call and brought my car in to have the final recall done, and sat there for two hours only to find out they didn't have the bracket to install the part. I complained about the process having been assured each time in would be the last time. They finally got on the phone to corporate to find the bracket, and did finish the recall that day. They also did a 22point inspection the last couple times I was in. The first time I took my car to my regular mechanic and had the work that was actually nessesary done. The second time those items showed up on the dealerships list of things that still needed to be done. So they did not do thier inspection properly because if they had, those items would have no longer been on the list. Nissan over all should not have waited six years to start making recall parts on something I am certain showed up on safety tests, at time of manufacturing. It should never have take. Six months to tell me about all the different pieces of the recalls on the airbags, everything should have been ordered at the same time. This dealship is very disorganized, and as I understand it is under new ownership, that can't seem to make up its mind over staffing. High turn over reflects badly on management and ownership. They need to get their act together. Leadership needs to come up with a solid plan coordinating with advisers and parts, and research ALL of the pieces needed to complete work. Stop firing people that you can't train properly, and start training them better instead. Their performance is reflected in your ability to lead properly. I gave this 2 stars only because The advisers (4 in all) not including the people calling me to tell me parts were in. Were all polite, and apologetic about the hassle. But I did tell them it is thing like my experience is why I do not get anything that isn't warranty done at th e dealerships. I do not like getting jerked around and I do not pay out the nose for labor that costs a fraction of the price at my very reliable mechanic outside of the dealership. Had it not been for the kindness of the advisers with my frustration this dealership would get zero stars.
