Poor customer service. I was sent to collections for a book that the library worker neglected to scan in. I was told the error was corrected but am still getting calls from collections. When I call the library manager is never there. I leave messages and she won't call me back. I suppose if it was their credit at stake they would give a care.

Very quiet. Not many people attend, mostly the college crowd. Be prepared for damp smell, it sits next to the river and gets flooded easily.

Great as a Community Center. Kinder care, Instruction on computers, discussion between the library staff and folk, deliveries run in and out. However, no noise discipline throughout - Had to leave to find a quite place. Otherwise, quite festive.

It's a very small branch, but it's nice and it's got a good children's section

Although small, this is one of the nicest libraries in the Norfolk Public Library system. During warm weather take the book that you've checked out and sit on one of the benches outside. They have a beautiful view overlooking Edgewater Haven and the Lafayette River.
