Pretty dated place with old machines and piping all over the place. Stuff everywhere. Staff was eating lunch sitting on the counter with feet up there too. The rest were sitting outside chain smoking cigarettes. It cleaned my clothes at a cheap price though. Central Boise location.

Quick, friendly service. I have used the self-serve machines, and take my shirts for wash and press. Great quality at a very reasonable price for a one day turnaround. It's also very nice to find a local place with actual staff that can and want to help you.

Might sound odd, saying i was nervous, but, because i have been literally assaulted and accosted, at those other so-called 4 star laundromats in town, i was beginning to think it was not safe in this cretinous town, to even get my clothes clean! But after getting my laundry done at norge, maybe now, i can feel safe, leaving the house, without my 6'6", 300 lb. husband. It was bittersweet; there have been so many violent, laundromat incidences, and the girls at norge were sooo kind and helpful, it's hard not to be nervous, waiting for the other shoe to drop. It's not right that i have to feel that way, just trying to get my clothes clean, but, after my experience at norge, i'm just really trying to simply enjoy people who actually know what customer service, and morality mean, and actually have souls and care about their customers' safety. I can tell they would never tolerate violence or foolishness; they were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, had great work ethic... they really seemed to care about people and their job- girls after my own heart. I hope that never changes and they never let the people in this town, (which is apparently saturated with violence, corruption and plain old ugliness), embitter them or steal their positivity. i have no clue how those other places are getting any good reviews, they probably create fake accounts, and straight lie, because not only were they terrible, violent and unsafe, but their managers don't seem to care if their customers live or die and certainly have no qualms about lying to the cops, when violent incidences occur on their property! How thoroughly soulless do you have to be to allow violent crimes in your business establishment go un-answered? Is it really so hard to take a stand against these low-lifes, and make it known you will not tolerate violence on your property? It's not a high bar to set, nevermind decent customer service. I mewn, can you at leaet just pretend to care if people can't even have enough peace of mind to get their clothes clean, without some maniacle freak inflicting damage to their person and property? Anyway, the washers at norge were a bit small, but the huge dryers more than made up for it; plus, my clothes got incredibly clean, even though i accidentally overloaded them a bit (not used to the smaller washers, wasn't sure how much to wash at once, sorry girls. 😕). That's something i couldn't even count on at the other places, even putting the proper amount of clothes in the machines! Now, maybe putting the temperature on the highest setting, wasn't a good idea, the clothes were almost too hot to touch, but again, that being my first time at norge, i'm still getting used to the place. My dryer door kept popping open, so, one of the girls came over and taped it shut for me. So sweet, helpful and resourceful. When my clothes were done, she went and fixed the door, so that didn't happen again! Like i said, they actually care and have fantastic work ethic. The place was as clean as can be, for being so busy, and even the other customers were so friendly and kind, the whole thing was such a pleasant surprise. So, between the great customer service, clean establishment, decent prices, a great many WORKING machines to choose from, plenty of parking, friendly fellow customers, and the fact that they have vending machines and good magazines to read, this is, hands down, the best place in town to wash your clothes! plus, they offer dry cleaning services, as well! For what more could you ask? thanks, ladies, so much for providing such a friendly, safe environment for decent people to get their clothes clean. you might never fully understand how much that means to those of us, whose life hasn't been all rainbows and cotton candy. Whatever management is doing, to find and hire such kind, sweet, hard-working people, don't change a thing!
