I took my newly adopted 1 yo shepherd mix to North Ave vet for her first visit. We were both very pleased with our visit! The space is really big and clean, and the staff is absolutely amazing! They all went out of their way to greet us, and give Brooke plenty of treats to make her comfortable. I will continue to bring her here (along with my senior cat).

I've taken my dog to North Ave Animal Hospital since I got him in 2006. We've had nothing but exceptional medical care but more importantly, warm welcomes and lots of petting, cuddles and treats for my dog. I've never had to wait for any length of time for our appointments and when we've needed "sick" or "semi-emergency" appointments, we've been able to be seen right away. The front desk staff and the vet techs know my dog and always bend down to give him cuddles. Recently, as he's gotten to be 12 years old, my dog has been losing weight and we understand that we may lose him soon. We've been into the hospital frequently and on the phone with the vet even more frequently. The entire staff has been informative but also so sympathetic and understanding. They've been patient with my endless phone calls with questions and concerns. They make sure to offer me a tissue when the tears come and always give our dog, Dublin, a huge hug on the way out. I would highly recommend North Ave Animal Hospital.

Love North Avenue! Every member of the staff is kind and personable. The Doctor's are always helpful and do their very best. They've helped me bring my underweight diabetic rescue dog back to good health. Couldn't have done it without their support! Everyone asks about my dog and you can tell they are all so invested in caring for animals.

Really wonderful place. All the doctors we've seen have been kind and competent, both to our pets and to us. Recently we had to put a much-beloved super-senior kitty to sleep, and everyone here was wonderful, making a terribly difficult experience as comfortable as possible. I would recommend them to anyone.

We've been seeing Dr Aldredge for quite a few years now. All I can say is that she is wonderful! I went to 3 other vets in Chicago before we found her. She has that nice balance of caring for your pets and being practical. I never feel like we leave there being over sold or under cared for. North Ave is the perfect balance. Always easy to work with and easy to contact! And they always remember us!
