Story

Dr. Jacob Cohen, Dr. Laura Mowry, Dr. Tricia Mullin, and Dr. Oh specialize in medical, surgical, dental, and general care for all life stages of your pet. We emphasize client education and preventative medicine. The dedicated team at WPVC values communication, understanding, and honesty and aims to keep its clients well-informed and comfortable.

We recognize that there are emotional, financial, and practical aspects to pet ownership and that each of our clients may need their medical needs tailored to their lifestyle. Dr. Cohen's focus has always been to achieve the ultimate navigation through these factors and provide the best for his patients and clients. My pup and I love the staff at Wicker Park Veterinary Clinic.  They are kind, thorough, and understanding.  My dog is very shy and afraid of just about anything, but they do a great job keeping him calm and taking great care of him.  He's been for regular checkups, vaccinations, and tooth extractions, and have always had excellent experiences. Highly recommend!

When my dog needed a follow up appointment after a chocolate-related emergency room visit, they were the first vet office who made time for a new client day of. My dog was very nervous, and the entire staff was very sweet to him, even sitting on the floor while checking his vitals so he could hide in the corner. I was there for a specific reason, but they gave him a thorough checkup anyway and caught an ear infection before it got too bad. I felt like they spent a lot of time with us really making sure I understood everything and felt safe after the emergency room scare. They even called the next day to follow up and make sure he was still doing well. Great visit, great staff, they’re definitely now our regular vet.

We love WP Vet clinic - but better yet, our dog loves it there! After all the memes I’ve seen of pets being scared of the vet, mine will drag you there if you’re within a two block radius. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, they aren’t scared of my overly friendly bulky breed and they provide excellent care! You won’t regret your decision to visit the trained doctors at Wicker Park Vet Clinic.

The absolute best.  Moose loves going to the vet because of the staff here.  All of the front desk staff is super friendly, prompt and helpful and Dr. Mowry is the greatest! We go out of our way to come here because they've been nothing but absolutely stellar.

Great service and friendly people, make no mistake. I'm rating as such because I was put off when getting the bill.  Without insurance its common practice for a customer to explicitly ask pricing up front, even if an estimate.  I wrote it down from the phone quote word for word, and the bill I received was over double this amount.  I realize many folk coming here have much more expendable income, and I likely would've still come (back, mind you) if I received the accurate quote, but now i'm hesitant to return.
