I brought my dog here and the dog park was decent. There was actually grass and the small dog area has tons of trees. The shade is nice, but not so great for playing fetch. There were not any small dogs around most of the time we were there and there isn't any water in the small dog area. I tried taking him to the big dog side for some water and a better fetch area, but he just doesn't like the bigger dogs. The park could use some definite upgrades, but it's probably one of the better ones I've been to here.

This park is very beautiful and the workers are nice. My boyfriend and I went on a picnic near the lake then went kayaking. This is a family friendly park with sprinklers and a lot of walking/bike trails. There are a lot of trees with shade, perfect for a picnic. There was a park police officer riding around the park on his bike which made it feel very safe. It's calm and quiet. I highly recommend it here. Don't hesitate!

Love the Charleston County Parks but Wannamaker is our family favorite with whirling waters that has something for all ages. The park it self is great with walking/biking trails, picnic areas, shelters, playground, snack bar, dog park, wetlands, plenty of parking, ect.... it's just a wonderful!

We took our little shitpoo to the dog park. It is nice. There were lots of big dogs but just a few little ones. The bathrooms are a few minute walk but are very nice. They charge $2 per person which is a little steep. I would encourage dog owners to pick up their dogs’ poo. There were land mines everywhere.

My little one had so much fun at the splash pad! Inexpensive to enter the park: $2 per person over 2 years old. We like the playground too, and have lots more to look into!
