Stayed here with a friend on Couchsurfing. It seems like a pretty nice RV park. The noise from the highway doesn't really leak into the lot.

Great place for working class people. Good location and convenient to downtown Charleston. Management is good and takes care of all issues in a timely manner. Made many friends there.

I've been here for a year. The location is great; it is near the interstate so a very short drive puts you in downtown Charleston. Go a little farther and you are in Mt Pleasant, Sullivan's Island, or John's Island. There are two Walmarts within just a couple of miles - one in each direction. So you can get food, supplies, or anything you need. There are tons of restaurants, several pizza places deliver here, and several really cool thrift stores very close by. It is a pretty bare bones campground, but there are several laundromats near by and they love long term campers. Their monthly rate is really reasonable and it includes water and electricity. The place is clean and well kept, plus the owner is awesome. I can get my mail here, they allow pets, and the campsites are really nice. Mine is huge! There are plenty of shady trees and it's pretty quiet. Most of the campers here are contractors working nearby. Our site is on the end, closest to the road which means that we do get a lot of traffic noise. We got used to it though. Sites that are toward the rear of the campground are quieter. I know a couple of people here gave low ratings, but I have been here 13 months. I didn't come in, stay for a few days or even a few weeks, I've been here through the winter, blazing hot summer. and even last year's 1.000 year flood (we stayed high and dry by the way). I've been through thunderstorms here and pelting rain, and super high winds. I think I have a pretty good view of this campsite. Since we are here long term, we got Comcast for internet but others have satellite or other internet options. I just love this place! It is safe, quiet, and clean. The owner is very laid back and sweet, she is so helpful. This is a great place if you want a nice place to stay. There are no frills and it's nothing fancy, but it's a very nice campground.

If you're looking for a NO FRILLS RV park in Charleston, SC, with monthly rental rates, which include electrical, this is the place! Please keep in mind, this is NOT a resort, with a pool, putting green, laundry and shower facilities but for Charleston, SC, the price is right and the owner(s) are very accommodating.
