I was a walk-in and had an asian guy with a bluetooth headset cut my hair. He smelled strongly of cigarettes, but he took his time and triple checked cutting my hair to make sure he was thorough and it looked even. He also didn't talk while he worked after knowing how I wanted my hair cut, which I didn't mind if that meant he'd get it right. He was a bit forceful with moving my head around but at least that wasn't with the clippers. It took 30min but was worth it by the time he was done.

So I wish I could give 5 stars but after finding a real barbershop that only caters to men  and accepts appointments, I had to down grade this place. I have been going to Christine for several years but after getting more than a few horrible  haircuts and her butchering my beard it was time to move on. Yes the new place I go to is a bit expensive (80 for a beard trim and haircut) it's not a place where you have to wait an hour so and get a lousy haircut cause the barber is rushed or tired, they actually only take appointments and no walk ins.  I do not feel like just a piggy bank anymore and actually have a barber who knows what he's doing with scissors and just clippers plus gives an awesome beard trim. I will not be returning to North Reston Barber shop now that I found my new go to place.

Only place I'll go for a haircut. I don't have a particular barber, I usually just walk in and get whoever's there. I have never had a bad haircut, and the quick shave and hot towel afterwards is a nice touch you don't get from some place like Hair Cuttery. Cheaper too.

Terrible! I am beside myself that someone would give them even 1 star. I am actually too embarrassed to walk around with my "haircut".. Hoping somewhere else to fix it. This guy just kept on "yessing" and "okaying" me but didn't actually listen to what I want. I part my hair and don't buzz cut it..he was buzzing the top of my hair instead of using scissors.
