Leaving our stay with labor and delivery now. The entire time we have been coming to this hospital during our pregnancy the staff has gone above and beyond for us. I was floored by the kindness shown by every person we’ve met. A special thank you to Amy, a visiting nurse from the Gainesville campus that helped deliver our boy on 2/23—you personally made this experience incredible and we will forever be grateful for you!

We had a family member with ALS and he was at the final stages of his life. He was admitted to the hospice care at Braselton, and my wife and I could not been more pleased with the care they gave Billy. They were professional courteous and informative at a very tough time in our lives. They took the best care possible of Billy in his final days and he passed away peacefully. Nothing but respect and admiration for there team!

Not worth the time. Went in on Wednesday night pushed me out as fast as they could have the flu didn't want to do anything gave me medicine that I couldn't afford and because it wasn't working and I don't have insurance so I was told that wasn't their problem. I am still sick and I am not getting any better but that not their problem

Went in on Sunday afternoon to the ER with my 6 year old clearly having issues breathing. We had been to the children’s urgent care the day before for a breathing treatment and steroid with no change, and I knew it was serious enough to do more. When we arrived the nurse checked her out and immediately put us in a room. After that she got a standard breathing treatment and steroid. The PA though had us sit for 6 hours and told us she only got worked up when she came in... she called our on call pediatrician and released us. If you have to call an on call pediatrician, you aren’t doing anything more than I can do! 2 hours after getting home we made the decision to go to CHOA at Scottish Rite, they admitted her that night and kept her for 5 days with continuous breathing treatments and forced air oxygen because her oxygen levels would not stay up. They also tested her for the flu and she was positive with influenza b. With everything going on, they should not play lightly on an asthmatic child. Thy could have at least said they aren’t equipped to deal with children! At one point she said she was sending us home because we looked like “responsible parents” that knew what to do if there was a problem. Thankfully we were!! It’s hard to imagine someone who doesn’t know the signs, potentially couldn’t afford (2) ER visits or any number of other reasons that may not have made the decision to go to CHOA, I didn’t want our kid to be another news story of misdiagnosis. Don’t take your children here.

This was an utter mess. My mother had a surgery and there were complications that caused her to have to stay the night. the doctor was fine and did the best he could, but the nurses and other staff were absolutely terrible with the aftercare. One male nurse refused to help her up and kept peeping around the corner once she got to the bathroom. Then another female nurse spilt water all over her and didn't clean it up. They kept her waiting when she was in pain and it was terrible. I understand being understaffed but there are no excuses for the kind of behavior they had.
