This is one of the worst hospitals in the state of Georgia.... I would advise anyone who need medical care to go elsewhere .... The staff is not there for the patient/patients ... They are more so there for laughs and to have a great time amongst  each other.. . The Charge  nurse name Joy told me from her own mouth they had a patient in the waiting room that had been there for 5 hours and I told her that was ashame...I would have never told anyone that .. . No one is that busy. .. You can get seen at Grady Hospital faster... Then she lied and said she(Joy)  was off duty
But the truth was she was somewhere goofing off  and someone else had her phone by the name of Lauren (who didn't have clue to what was going on) ... So if you guys want to receive the proper medical care please stay away from this place (Atlanta Medical Center)... And tell your friends and family to stay away as well..

Where do I start? This is by far the WORST so called hospital I have ever visited!! The ER was dirty and nasty looking, a RN walked pass me with a rolling cart filled with 4 large bags of trash..Why are you bringing TRASH through this area? There are ill people here waiting. I was told that 2 people were ahead of me and that soon after I would be seen, my name wasn't even called after 2 hrs of waiting with severe abdominal pain, I then asked the nurse at the main desk if I would in fact be seen tonight and he replied "Hold on, let me check the system..few seconds pass and he says "I'm sorry but, I can't find your name however I can go ahead and input you in the system now" meaning my wait time would have been even longer. I am very displeased with the staff and my overall experience. I immediately grabbed my belongings and left..I WILL NEVER RETURN THERE..PLEASE I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

The nurses and staff here are RUDE AS HELL! It seems as if no one likes their damn job and nobody, I MEAN NOBODY is friendly. The ER has a fast track system and idk why. Because it’s not any faster. I was there 5 hours and there were only 3 other people in the waiting room and only me back in fast track. GO TO EMORY OR PIEDMONT

I received superb care at Atlanta Medical Center. Ms. Brittani, the director came from inside to wheel me in very frigid weather. I suffered a broken ankle and was there for surgery. From admissions with Ms. Heath, to my phenomenal nurse Ms. Carol and surgeon Dr. Furie. I received top notch care and respect at this facility. Thank you to everyone that aided in my care Highly recommend Atlanta Medical Center.

I wish there was an option to give them a negative star!!!! WORST HOSPITAL IN ATLANTA!!!!!! They don’t come to your rescue until you yell and cuss at them a few times! I’ve been here for 6 hours!!!!!! Getting the run around, “ we getting you a room now.” “15 more mins” we getting you a bed .” WHY IM STILL HERE!!! Bottom line, Atlanta medical , you suck!!!!!!!
