Miners beware this place would rather be a fence for tweeker stolen goods than buy actual gold pulled form a river. I brought 17g of flower and small flake and he wouldn't even test it before saying we don't buy that. While he drooled over some tweekers mother's julery. Places like this should be shut down.

I came in to meet with Doug who I had received great Customer service from in the past! He knew I was on the way & I was in my car sorting out my pennies before taking them in! I guess he didn't know which car I was in even tho I did tell him I was on my way but he went to LUNCH ANYWAY! That was disappointing as I only wanted to deal with him as we had already built a report I guess they have a new guy there now he's tall& wears glasses & has dark hair! I'm half deaf & didn't catch his name! I was writing Doug a note & fully prepared to leave my coins with him (as I trusted him) the receptionist introduced the new guy to me & I am already a bit upset because I'm not dealing with Doug & other things & I hand him my coins before he even gets them all out he's ALREADY SAYING THERES NOTHING THEY CAN DO FOR ME! What if the last COIN IN HIS HAND HAD BEEN A VERY EXPENSIVE ONE! He's had missed out wouldn't he had? I'm very disappointed & dishearten by the level of Customer Service I encountered here & had planned on bringing more business here & referring my friends here too! Not anymore! To Doug! You are a good guy! And I do believe I had a proof coin in my mix of pennies! But I was summarily dismissed! Good Luck to You but To heck with this New Guy! His customer skills stink & I'm sure your CLIENTELE WILL SUFFER FOR HIM BEING THERE! Upset former Customer PS if he leaves let me know I will return! Tina

Dishonest business from top down. These guys are bullion brokers and sell commodities (gold and silver coins) at a huge premium other than straight bullion. I bought a coin for $105 and the manager Doug Larson promised that if I wanted to ever sell the coin back, I would get at least 80% of what I paid. After changing my collection to all vintage silver and graded gold coins I decided to sell my coin back to Northern Nevada and Mr. Larson offered me $25 dollars. If you are looking to safely invest, go anywhere else than Northern Nevada Coin. They only care to make large profits from putting customers in bad investments.
