Everyone was very kind and friendly, I was introduced to many of the staff like I was meeting extended family members at a reunion. I was offered tea and was coached through the process of applying for Care Credit. The staff worked with me on my budget to get the care that was needed for my dog. Every single person I interacted with there gave my pup special attention and treated her with great care and compassion. We were made to feel very welcome and I will definitely continue my pet's care at this clinic.

I transferred care for my animals here after they made a same day appointment for my wonderful dog to be put down after a long illness  (and the vet I had been seeing on 8th Ave NE and Northgate was unable to fit me in though I explained the circumstances - wow). The appointment that day was an extremely sad one;  I received a beautiful plant and card soon after from this office of wonderful people I had just met. Since then, every time we  (my kids are very welcome there by staff) go we are provided thorough,  pragmatic care and explanation.  Their hours are awesome!

Really friendly staff. They really care for your pet. I wish they had the correct gender though.

I went to this clinic for 2 years, taking both of my dogs there for care. The staff is very kind, but the prices are outrageous and they recently misdiagnosed my dog. This misdiagnoses lead to a very expensive and painful process for my pup that was essentially avoidable. One veterinarian at this clinic told me my dog had a black eye. I pointed out the puss coming from the inflamed area (wondering if it was infected) and she sent me home with NSAIDs and Benadryl. That bill was not cheap but at the time I thought it was reasonable. My dog's swelling progressed over the weekend, I took her in just 3 days after the first visit, and they wanted to charge me almost $2000 to treat the abscess... yep, it was infected this whole time. I took her to another vet and the problem was resolved for half the price. The new vet told me this could have been prevented with immediate care when I first noticed. This is not the first time Northgate over charged me; however it is the first time my dog suffered because of poor treatment. 

This clinic finds ANY way to add charges to your bill. They are kind and I thought thorough. I use to feel justified in paying their high prices, thinking "you get what you pay for". Now I feel like they were just adding on unnecessary tests for me to pay for (that always ended up negative). Then when I really needed the detailed care, they diagnosed my dog with a "black eye" and sent me home. There are better places to go to that are cheaper.

Northgate was recommended to me by my veterinarian of 20+ years back in NY. Dr. Baxter and her team have provided care for both my dog and my two cats since I moved to Seattle 2 years ago. No matter the situation, they've gone out of their way to provide convenience for me and high quality care for my pets. Cosmo (my Border Collie) is greeted as though he is royalty for every visit. It makes trips to the vet far less stressful. When my cat Mary had to be put down (Lymphoma), they sent me a thoughtful card signed by all of the people who treated her as well as a beautiful potted Iris. Such a thoughtful gesture. I will continue to give them my business as long as I am in Seattle. They're great.
