Tom and his team here are awesome. If time allows, they always make your issue their first priority and are always great with keeping you involved. I appreciate that they take time to explain what exactly you are paying for and what they will do for you. Highly recommended and I will continue to visit this shop any time I have issues with my truck.

Been going to Tom and his crew for a couple years now and they are always straight forward and honest. Highly recommend them. They just did my brake system, gave me a good quote before they started work and had me back
On the road in no time. 
Seriously. It’s not often can you say “my mechanic is awesome”.
Thanks guys! I’ll see you for my next oil change.

They are a very professional and helpful shop. They tried all they could to get my 94 tracker started after it died on me. Though it was beyond their capabilities to get it working, I’m very pleased with my experience. I will be back if I need additional work.

Completely lied to us. Fair warning. 

Just look at the owner's responses to negative reviews giving a very conflicting story to them. Every person that has had a bad experience is a liar? More likely the owner is twisting it to paint a better picture of himself and his business.

Fair, Transparent, Honest and Timely Shop ... allow me to digress ...

Tom and associates have done multiple major repairs on my 2001 Highlander, including timing belt, O2 sensors and knock sensors. And  each one was done on time and without any unexpected charges or recommendations for additional (unneeded) repairs. 

I decided to write this review after my last visit for a bad knock sensor repair. On this visit they replaced both knock sensors and harness at my request.  Unfortunately one of the new OEM knock sensors was bad from the Toyota dealership so the engine light reappeared after picking up the vehicle so I called Tom and he immediately took the vehicle back, ordered all new parts (including harnesses, etc and had them expedited to his shop). And, while the parts were in transit, he preemptively tore the engine back down - to have it ready for the new parts to save me time. The sensors arrived quickly and he had my vehicle back to me the next day! Needless to say, I was impressed. I've come to expect great service from Northwest Auto over the last six years, but even this exceeded my expectations. Shout out to Tom and his crew for their honesty and integrity. I highly recommend them if you need work on done on your ride.
